Day 9

The lack of volume was due to not really feeling it today. I was groggy and not in the grinding mindset. Hit up the local casino to dabble in some $1-$2 instead. I'm mixing $30's and $60's now, hoping to run good and stick.

Day 10

I had internet problems when I typically play my late morning/early afternoon session. Instead of playing I watched Pursuit Of Happyness (had to after I saw the clip in starting gun's thread). If you're having trouble with work ethic and putting in volume I suggest you watch it. You will appreciate the grind more.

When I finally did get into the swing of things I felt like my game was off a little this evening. It's crazy how out of sync you can get so quickly. I felt like I was over adjusting to opp tendencies :\ You can do all the ICM work you want but you have to be able to execute it at the tables in real time.

With Easter this weekend I wasn't able to grind too much. Poker didn't even cross my mind yesterday. I ran pretty sour for the games I did play.

I'm back! I meant for it to be sooner but as we all know the forums went awol for a while. This forum is cluttered up enough so I don't need another thread for my goals. Well, my first goal was ambitious and I failed horribly after only a couple negative days.

Total challenge I played 1037 games for $2284 profit.


My car has been on the market for a while now. Everyone I have told that I am selling my car thinks I'm off my rocker. I have it listed a little below fair market value at $20,900 and I had a couple that were interested that made the 1.5 hour drive to come take it for a test drive this weekend. My dad has also shown interest in buying it.

Unfortunately I didn't have the roll or confidence in my game to participate in many SCOOP events. I've been playing quite a bit of live poker to live off of. I'm just starting to dabble back into online and I think it's time to come up with another challenge. When I finally get the money from my car sale I might even attempt some sort of MTT prop bet.

I'm looking to create a 30 day online MTT prop bet. Does 2:1 for $10K profit without SNGs/Rakeback/Bonuses sound like a fair line to draw? Suggestions are welcome.
