SnG Grind Challenge SnG Grind Challenge

I play under the username robram18 and my main reason for starting this blog is to add extra inspiration for me to play well.

My aim
I want to stick with what I do best so I'm going to mainly 9 table nine man $7 turbo's on pokerstars. I may play the odd 18 man SnG or tournament to mix things up but nothing with a buy in of over $7. The 9 man turbos will be my staple game. I'm going to deposit $200 as my role, so I will be starting with just short of 30 buy ins.

I'm not sure what my aim is with regards to numbers yet. I think on average 36-54 per day will be the aim, but I will review this once I get going.

I'm going to set an initial overall aim of reaching $1000. If I reach this I will set a new financial target and consider moving up the buy ins.

My history
I've been playing on and off for the last 7 years. My cash game record is poor, but my SnG & tourny records are very solid - $4.7k up on Full Tilt according to Sharkscope. I've probably donked loads of that away playing poorly in cash games though! If I play my best poker I should be able to comfortably beat these SnGs.

I do use pokertracker and have a good HUD set up etc. This will track my results.

What else?
I'm starting this challenge off the back of a failed attempt in grinding Rush poker, but this does mean I'm very nearly a Platinum star which will boost my rakeback bonuses. I'm sat on 2000 FPPs and I'm also 1300 VPPs short of a $50 bonus. I will be including these in my profit margins when I get to collect them.

I've just reset my Sharkscope stats to zero, so my progress will also be shown there.

I plan to update this is often as I can showing my progress. Hope I don't bore you all too much, and it helps me to win good money!
