Fixed my grind station now. Pics with the monthly report in a few days. Im such a noob. I have had the brightness on my imac 1 out of 10 bars since I got it. It looks so so so much better now haha. Maybe abit too bright though! Also got a seocnd thunderbolt monitor to go with the imac for 60 inches of screen space.

Im just looking at the lobby on PokerStars. There is 25 tables, but every table ahs a waiting list of 10-20 people. Surely thats not attractive for the fish? How do people start a session and get 12 tables up and running when they will be so far down on the waiting lists?

6.30pm, pleno is starting his session

      6.29am, pleno finishes session

Absolutely insane session. I spent 10 hours in the hole, runnning worse than a nightmare, running KK into AA 7 times and coolered in huge pots. I was 3.5k down after 10,000 hands and I hit a brick wall, the birds were tweeting outside and my girlfriend and dogs were snoring increasingly louder next door. I had two options. 1) Give up, book my first losing day of the month, or 2) Go into beast mode, change hoodies to something that makes me feel more aggro and get to work.

2 hours later, 17 bis later we are absolutely even for the day. What a fantastic result. Ive posted some pretty good graphs in this thread this month, but this one is without doubt my favourite. Perhaps my favourite all time graph.

Im going to sleep a very, very happy man!

(p.s rakeback is quite good with this volume!)

seems to me he had AK or a SET and tried to rope you in and when you shove for a bit more he just doesnt see it as a result of his weak bet sizes

      sick graph!

question: Is there anyone on the more passive side pf and postflop at zoom actually winning or do you have to be a crazy monkey to get anything done there?

      October Wrap Up

Big, big month this month, lots of things happening. The month started off with the saddest news Ive received in a while that my Grandma has passed away and this left my Mum feeling incredibly sad about the whole situation. I of course flew back to Newcastle and went to the funeral. Was a very nice ceremony and met family form Australia and people I hadnt seen since I was very young.

I flew back from Scotland to Budapest, but not before the Genting tour. I played both day 1s, losing with QQ v AJ on jxx and then a series of losing 70-30s was a grim second exit. The cash games were incredible though and whilst I really didnt see anything better than 66 or AT for the whole weekend I managed to win a couple of thousand which was very good for morale. Also stayed with a blonde I hadnt met properly and we got on very well (Eso) almost every blonde Ive met IRL Ive got on with great with btw.

I came back home and was like 10 days behind grinding, October was supposed to be the big month of grinding for a few reasons.

Anyway we got on the horse and after some pretty big volume we managed to book a good winning month. This was basically all at 200nl maximum.

I also started working on my own website, were adding things every day and its basically things that I would like to see other people do, a collection of them all and will put them altogether. If anybody has any other ideas PLEASE PLEASE tell me before I launch. It will be a non profit thing and It will be for the people!

      1) My blog, speaking about things in more depth and my official stance on big industry topics (HUDS etc)
      2) In The Tank, Im going to get the guys who you dont know and do interviews with them and find out who they are, what they play and lots of cool additional stuff
      3) Im going to write content for free. Advanced content, giving the secrets that the pros dont want to give etc
      4) Im going to do more podcasts. Podcasts with some very big names. Im going to call people out on Podcasts and make them very hard and ask the questions people want to know
      5) Im going to try as best as possibe to detail the life of a poker player travelling the world and hopefully achieving supernova elite. It will be emotional and Im sure people will enjoy it.

Any other stuff please post ITT and if I like it Ill make it happen.

      November Goals

      [ ] Play 25 days
      [ ] Profit 10k after rakeback
[ ] Follow a strict time management plan
      [ ] Eat 2 new foods
[ ] Prepare mentally before every session
      [ ] 5x very serious study
      [ ] Launch website
      [ ] Buy a parker coat!!

The next 10 people who post ITT I will give 5 dollars for each goal that I dont hit. Its basically impossible for me to hit all the goals.

All you need to do is guess the amount of hands I will play this month, whoever is closest will get the amount I give away doubled.

(Have to post before Saturday am CET)
