Yeah that was a sick story.

Stars didn't come out looking very good either once it had all settled down. Infact it was handled appallingly and the tour shouldn't be back at that hotel but poker players being poker players who generally dont give a crap about much will flock back there again this year.

It is pretty freaky, I read that story as well. The question is, how can players protect themselves from this sort of stuff when tourneys are held in similar environments? It doesn't seem like Stars or the hotel cares, so maybe it falls to the players to take care of each other? Have some sort of neighborhood watch thing going?

Very motivating thread! Read it all. Eric Wasylenko is from my home town in Canada. Heard all about the 28 tabling and masseuses lol. Are you still taking horses in your stable? When will your site be up and running?

Ok well as you have probably noticed I've been very inactive recently. I've decided to close this blog, not officially or dramatically asking mods to close it but for the foreseeable future I won't be blogging.

I've changed my approach a lot recently. I'm now playing cash games again and working very hard there and looking forward to trying to get SNE this year. I will stop playing mTTs except on Sunday's.

I want to thank each and every one of you who has commented here over the last couple of years. There's times I haven't replied but I always read every reply and took all of the advice/comments as constructively as possible. I'm sure my success in 2014 wouldn't have been the same without this thread it was a place to get things off my chest and to let off some steam, I recently looked back over the read and there were a lot of very good memories.

I've been keeping a diary recently (with a real pen!!) and will continue to do so this year.

As the staking site progresses I may blog monthly or something there.

Once again thanks for all the support over the years and hope to see many of you at different live stops in the future.

No point grinding a 75ABI when youre playing 1knl+ and are easilly rolled to play 750ABI tourney when they run!!

What an absolute pity. I somewhere read you have been a journalist before switching to poker fulltime. Well, that makes sense, since your comments here were probably some of the most entertaining and best written ones on the whole forum.
