Bit of backstory: been playing poker online for about a year and a half now, all online besides messing about with friends, and its given me a v.good income fora full time student instead of grinding it out at McDonalds or some ****
i started with SNGs, built a good bankroll at the $6.50s and messed about with cash games and MTTs, hitting 3 or 4 low four figure scores, and generally just failing at cash.
ended up grinding the $26s for about 6 months and went on a 3k game breakeven. it send me mad and i ended up crushing my roll from about 3k to 1k.
spent the last 6 months pissing around and generally not making money, and with it being my sole source of income ive been broke a lot.
college and exams finish 31st june, and im taking a year out to play full time and just 'live the dream' for a year. unforunately the last 6 months has left me with a roll of about $700 and a bit of misdirection.
this has led me to 4-6 tabling 25nl rush. only got about 50k hands in so far, and so far so good. crushed 10nl and quickly moved to 25nl, where i now reside.
ill be setting volume goals, rather than results orientated goals. better for focus
goals :
41k hands from 15 may - 31st may.
100k hands from 1st june - 31st june
160k hands from 1st july - 31st july
at this point i hope to have enough money to get a place of my own (rented) and support myself from poker. i will eventually step up to 50nl rush, but it depends on results and how i feel.
just as a side note, what sort of winrate can i expect? i believe im a solid player, and im aiming for around 3.5-5 PTBB over a large sample.
cheers

Is this FR?
I play the 200nl rush tables for a living. I wouldn't say that anything below 200nl is "living the dream" as making enough to pay bills/moveup requires a TON of grinding. How good are you at grinding?
I don't know how much softer the lower levels are but I think you are overestimating long term winrates and underestimating how hard the upper levels are.
If I were you I'd take shots as soon as I became confident I was winning at the limit you are playing at >2ptbb or maybe 3ptbb at the lower levels.

ill do 30-40 hours a week in 3-4 hours sessions quite comfortably. and yes, it is full ring. maybe not living the dream, but growing and becoming independant in a 'diffeerent' way than going to university straight away
