I've been finding the opposite to be true. Although I'm running good, I am actually starting to enjoy playing these.

The only hope we have left is 1) most of said coaches are pretty crap anyway 2) students still need an element of savvy/talent to actually make the most of the coaching, so most of them will fail (or at least not reach maximum ROI) regardless of what they're taught. That's our only hope.
I don't want to get too far into this, but the way things are now resulted from greed. I think a lot of guys figure that a player will find coaching elsewhere so they think why not capitalize and earn some side income. The problem isn't with just a few sources of information, it's pretty widespread and will continue to be a problem as long as money still has value and poker is still profitable.

This is my August up to date. I still haven't been putting in many hours lately. I'm not too worried about it though. I've been finding other things to do and have been a lot less stressed with poker and trying to reach some monetary goal each month. However, I'd like to get back into a routine that involves me playing 6-8 hours regularly.
I've been running good and enjoy playing when I do play. I've been 12 tabling and doing 1 hour sessions which gets me somewhere between 50-60 games an hour. I don't expect my hourly to stay this high and I'll eventually want to add more table or move up to 30s, but for now I'm going to keep trying to improve.
For anyone interested, I wrote a
blog about my early years playing live.
