Thank you! You are probably right, I am eager to move up but I got quite a bit of fear of losing monies and my EV isn't the best. I haven't checked the overall picture but I would guess it's maybe only around 45 chips a game at 15s and no idea what this should translate to at 30s but it feels quite tight to risk it...

I could easily continue as is at 15s plus add a few more games to maintain my SN for this year basically stress free and focus on my other projects but this means I will be very likely locked in for part timing 15s/30s next year as well and I just have this nagging feeling I could do a lot better in poker than this ...

Thanks . Last 35BI shot at 30s was over within 300 games which is a lot of money for me to burn in 2 days. Going to give it some thought, I don't really like mixing buy-ins but it's probably what I should do first if ever...

I would get used to the idea of mixing, 30s queue can get reeeeal long.

Motivated to get started again tomorrow , done a lot of HH reviews, watched videos and analyzed my DB a good amount the past few days, I believe I have identified some more leaks that I should be able to fix now.

As for moving up to 30s, I got some advice ^^^ that I should aim for an EV of 50 chips in 2000 games if I want to make it back up to 30s, I think this makes a lot of sense and so this will be my goal for now and then re-evaluate, I had a pretty good stretch already the past 600 games so it might be possible this month.

My other goal this month will be to not look at graphs and cashier again but this time I am allowing myself to look every Sunday after my last session and of course I want to avoid tilt and bad play as much as possible.

Ok first week done and I just had a look, I lost -$210 (560 games) at +64 chips a game lol... Suckouts all week and I definitely tilted a good amount but glad at least EV is looking positive, ok better get my runbad out of the system now.

Currently my last ~2000 games I got already ~52 chips per game but I will play a few more days 15s and see if the trend continues like this, I definitely don't feel ready to move up tomorrow, scared obv .

OK, I got a bit more than 50 chips/2000 games which am quite happy about, looks like 58/game and my current BR is a little less than $4000, so this means I will start mixing 15s and 30s in a couple days but need a break first from Jokerstars :P...

Ok, time to shine . Just upgraded my SpinWiz and got $3905 left. Going to mix but will try to play more 30s than 15s if queue allows lol. I will have to look a bit more often at my BR now (maybe every 2 days), if it drops below $2500 I will just play 15s. GL me!

It looks like I will choke again at 30s and spent months rebuilding then the cycle continues, what's the point? My cEV is looking really good at 30s so far on small sample but of course I am losing money ... BR is down to $3397 and now I am thinking I should just quit playing 30s at $3000 already and settle down at 15s for rest of the year or even change to another game, Spins is probably not the best format for a tilter like me.

You just made me read an article on the basics of the game that's how much I know about PLO. I might actually give it a try...

I was joking, but hopefully you know that. The variance can be soul crushing if you are multi-tabling. That said, it is all I play anymore but I just 1 or 2 table micros while working online for fun and to keep recent hands in my databases for my job. I find it a lot more 'fun' than holdem since I can quickly win/lose a few buyins in a couple hundred hands instead of just folding 80% of my hands.

haha I know that now ... There isn't much folding in Spins either btw ..

BR now at $3022, I guess I should play it safe and move down again but don't really want to. Running pretty bad, EV looks ok for now (50+ in 15s and 30s).
