yeah I was 20 tabling at the time, and all the thoughts in that exact order came to me in like 1.2 seconds

very unlikely I'm looking to coaching, I may reopen the stable but right now it's mostly grinding for me. Gotta hit that SNE then I can relax and do extra curriculars.

Pretty much took the day off and picked up my sister from the airport, took her around town ect. Heading to Tulum tomorrow and I'm very excited. Will take a bunch of pics and post some. Tulum is one of the closer Mayan ruin sites and it's like on the beach. Should be pretty awesome.

Managed to get in a short session while I'm supposed to be asleep.

      Sick graphs!

I miss Mexico, such an awesome place. Didn't make it to Tulum, but hit most of the other big ones in the area, Tikal, Palenque, Monte Alban etc.

Apparently you can surf at Tulum. That would be pretty sweet.

not anytime soon, maybe Ill stop by for Chinese New Years

        ---

cant really type, got owned by a sea urchin out yesterday.

went to tulum on thursday, pics to follow. took a collectivo (minibus) for 40 pesos a person from playa to tulum. it was pretty legit. inside the ruins/national park they have a small private beach where the ruins are in the backdrop. chilled there until they closed and then walked to another beach (santa fe?) which was about 10 minutes walk from the ruins. weren't tons of people, could deffo see myself just taking the collectivo out there one day to chill/read a book.

then yesterday we(my sis and 3 other friends) went to cozumel (a nearby island). took a ferry there, was around 30 minutes. rented a jeep for the day and we were off. of course at the first snorkel spot i touch a sea urchin and get needles stuck in my finger. tried to pull some out and they just broke. fail. oh well, they should come out sometime and hopefully theyre not poisonous.

        first session on new laptop

Took a beating at 2k and 1k, played very poorly and am dissapointed. On the other hand I'm doing very well at 500z and it's making me think about more instead of autopiloting, which is good. I have a few new theories I'm working with, which should be pretty interesting.

Went to a water activities park with scarface, his girlfriend, and my sister. It was a pretty awesome day, may upload pics later.

Dat ~1/3pot lead on cards that are good for your range (e.g.middle pair when you c/c as pfr) has been pretty common in HU for a while.

on the 88 v 44 hand OTT you lead out with the A, he's presumably bluffing too much if hes starting off with a 44 bet no? so how much better is the A on the turn anyways?

Im aware of range play leads, I was just wondering if there's much reasoning to splitting your range and going polar (75% pot +) or leading non-polar for a smaller sizing (25%-1/3).

Seen different HSNL regs take different sizings in these spots.

                  Spoiler:
this is true, but if you look a little closer in the recent hands I posted it's actually a different scenario

yes this is also why the turn is a close spot, good catch. It kind of boils down to what I think he's flatting from MP and then betting flop and raising turn with.
