NIce going. What BRM do you use? Do you mind sharing what is your current roll? What is your expectation of your future yearly earning once you reach the highest stake? GL.

I had the absolute worst BRM when I started playing on Ignition last March. Deposited $50 and immediately 2 tabled 25nl zone. Once I ran it up to $200 I was playing 50nl reg tables. Before I had 1k in my account I was sitting 200/400nl with 50bb and playing the nittiest poker of my life. But it ended up working out for me, and I haven't busto'd my roll since.

Would definitely not recommend my approach. When I started playing I was still in school, had few expenses, and I had money coming in from other sources. Poker started out as a way to kill time when I was bored. Even last March when I joined Ignition and got more serious I didn't think I would be relying on poker as my income within just a few months.

Nowadays, I use an advanced BRM strategy: don't play 1knl or higher, and when you do cut your losses at 2 buyins. It works ok.

My current roll is around 40k, so I feel fine playing 500nl without worrying about going busto. I think 40 buyins for a stake is probably fine, but when that 20 BI downswing hits **** starts to get kinda scary, so I prefer 50+ BI, preferably 100 BI tbh

I don't know what my highest stake will be honestly. Maybe I'll reach 10/20. Maybe I'll go even higher (if higher stakes run elsewhere? lol). Maybe I'll be stuck at 200/500nl forever. I don't know. Going to depend a lot on how hard I work and how much I'm able to will myself to fight through variance.

My success so far has surprised me tbh, so I don't want to sound arrogant, but I think I have the ability - if I can just stay focused and motivated - to beat the high stakes games (at least on the networks where I play and have observed the action at HS/played a little HS). I'm excited to prove this, but I'm not there yet - financially or in my ability/confidence.

In regards to what I expect to earn... I don't know man, getting to play a game I love on my schedule for 6 figures every year seems like the dream to me, and that's where I'm at right now. So I'm pretty happy with that, and anything more is just gravy at this point.

Final tabled a $100 10k GT last night. Went into the FT in 7th, managed to take the chip lead at one point, but ran poorly once we were 4 handed and ended up busting in 3rd place for about 16 buyins. Felt good to have a FT run as it's been about a month. Would've like to take 1st... but I've got a couple dozen more chances today and tomorrow.

Also, I performed some highly advanced technical analysis on my cash game graph. According to my TA, profit is in my future. check it out:

Legitimately almost folded on the flop to his 4bet. Problem is I don't know if he's the kinda guy to think KJ is the nuts here, or if he's the type of guy to have just 66 and that's it.

I've lost more than 10 hands today where I had 80+% equity on the flop. 2 set over sets besides the one above, full house over full house, flush over flush... you name a way to lose and I've done it today. -8 buyins at 200nl, only -1 at 500nl. Played great though, besides a couple mistakes in tournaments

edit: 4th set over set of the day. going for the record i guess

try to focus less on the day to day result and the swings won't bug you as much. try not looking at cashier balance for as long as you can as long as you are properly rolled.

I don't think I'll ever be at a point where -10 buyin days don't bug me at all. I'm at the point where I can play my A or B game through it though.

Just flopped bottom set vs top two, got it in on the flop. and you know the rest obviously:

Wasn't involved in the hand, but this flop play is ****ing hilarious. Didn't catch it at first because I was playing other hands, but I wanted to see what the BB called down with so I watched the replay. 82o no heart

Untracked :/ Was lazy for a while and wasn't manually entering my results into my database. Sucks because I had several few 4 fig cashes and I would love to know my RO. I suspect I'm up slightly but not much in online MTT's in the last year.

Started tracking MTT's when I switched to PT4 in mid Feb. These are my results since then:

124 tournaments
ITM: 25%
ROI: -5.05%
Total Buyin: $11,806
AVG Buyin: $95.05
First/second place: 0
3rd place: 2

I play a decent amount of $20-$40's, so I'm surprised my ABI is that high.

Very nice stuff. What plans have you for playing more 500/1k?

The goal is still to be grinding solely 500nl by June. I'm rolled for it, just don't feel completely ready. Playing about 80% 200nl and 20% 500nl right now. Playing 1knl by the beginning of 2019 would be ideal.
