RUSH NL10----->NL??? RUSH NL10----->NL???

Hi all, I'll try to keep it short and to the point.
I'm opening my very own challenge thread for (additional) motivation and a place where I can get some insight into some of the hands.

I switched to FT and I will be playing RUSH, starting with NL10.

My goals:

1) 40k hands for the first month or more (Not sure how realistic this is in terms of too much, not enough, etc, so will adjust the goal after the 1st month)

3) Atleast 200 points per day, for atleast 20 days in the first month (will adjust if needed)

4) Learn not to skip number 2) xD

Starting with 50 BI and will drop to NL5 if I drop to 300$.
Hopefully I wont run awful at start like some of my friends have.

Gl to myself, I guess

Starting today, 17.2.2011.

Speaking from experience: ignore the Ironman point crap. Putting in an extra thousand hands on tilt is going to greatly outweigh some nanoslice of a bonus.

Tbh, I never had Iron Man cap in mind. I only put 200 points a day since I'm not sure if that's too optimistic or not(or even too easily done).

And I said 20 days Justin Case(cwIdt? ) I cant play every single day for the next 30 days

As far as Iron Man goes, I probably wont pay attention to it. My main interest is volume and points will come with it

EDIT: But thnx for the advice

I forgot to say I will be playing both 6max and FR, depending on the mood.

1. session over.

Played 6max, 2 tables
Hands: 965
Time: 1h30m
Won/Lost: +18,37
Points: 101
4.04 bonus cleared

HEM didnt work, only to find out why. I didnt put the FT HH folder in the Autop Import folders in HEM, Do'h!

Not much to say about the session itself, got AA few times, mostly everyone folded.
Will go through the hands I have(only like 20% due to late HEM "fix") and post if I find any interesting ones.

I have a couple comments for you for what they are worth:

I like that you are starting well rolled. A lot of people come to these forums playing with 5 buy-ins or whatever. That being said, I think being this well rolled you should be shooting for more hands in multi-tabling a bit. 40,000 hands/month at rush poker really isn't very much. Maybe 3-4 tabling FR rush. This is because it will take you quite a bit of volume to get to 40-50 buy-ins of 25nl. Also, you should try to stick to one game. Master one game first then branch out if you want.

One hand that not sure what would I do on the river if he bet like 1/2 - 2/3 of the pot.

Would it be a standard fold? Standard call?
No reads or anything so I couldnt just assume it was a set by the raise on the flop, right?

As it seems, yes, you are right about the volume. I think I can easily play atleast 4k hands per day at RUSH.
I will be trying FR so that I can 3 table(Not sure if I can 4, perhaps in time), cause 6max 3 tables is going a bit too far for now I think.

I will play like this for few next days and then see how's the whole volume situation per day on Sunday and then adjust my goals, plus add one or two more just so others can see what I'm going for.

Thank you for the comments, they are always welcome, positive or negative.

3. session over

I tried FR and, well, I got to taste the other side of Rush, I guess

1st stack(100bb) went due to my "smart" 3 barrel bluff

70bb was set over set so I'm not counting that as a mistake , just unlucky.

Biggest(and losing) pot was:

MP2: $11.28
Hero (CO): $17.58
BTN: $25.51
SB: $8.09
BB: $13.26
UTG: $4.88
UTG+1: $3.35
UTG+2: $15.71
MP1: $35.51

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is CO with A A
5 folds, Hero raises to $0.30, BTN calls $0.30, 2 folds

Flop: ($0.75) 3 J K (2 players)
Hero bets $0.55, BTN raises to $2.40, Hero calls $1.85

I guess I can Cbet 0,65 on these kind of flops with this hand, but ok.
Here, when he raises me, I cant really fold and I decided to just call to see what turn brings and to (kinda?) feign a bit of weakness. Does that make any sense at all?

Turn: ($5.55) T (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $5.55, Hero raises to $14.88 all in, BTN calls $9.33

I continued with the feign weakness(in b4 "lolz" ). When he pots here I cant really call cause I'm commited, am I not?

Yes, I thought I was in trouble due to size of the bet. Can I find a fold here and feel good about it?

River: ($35.31) 9 (2 players - 1 is all in)

Spoiler:
Final Pot: $35.31
Hero shows As Ah (a pair of Aces)
BTN shows 3h 3d (three of a kind, Threes)
BTN wins $33.31
(Rake: $2.00)

Easy fold on the turn. At FR u could actually fold the flop.

What Tikru said. You should not be getting aces in unimproved in a single bet pot against an unknown with 100bb+ on most board textures. The fold is even easier when you hold the ace blocker to the nut flush draw.
