Just got back from a nice dinner at Susannah's with 3 of the Rosa Bros, its 7:30pm and I just woke up 3 hrs ago, so I'm hoping to quickly pass out by like 9pm and take like a 5 hr 'nap' and wake up at 2am and start the weekend. Snap took half a xanax bar, loaded up 2 bowls and grabbed a beer, so hopefully **** kicks in quick .

just saw this. yea let's grab some food one of these nights. really think desktop is the way to go with poker, plus you can get a really sick one built for much less than you'd pay for a comparable laptop. you lose the ability to be mobile, but i think you're onto something with the laptop+teamviewer idea (especially since you cook/move around your house more than me). i had actually not thought of that yet

Laptops nowadays are straight-up disposable technology with a useful life of 18-24 months. I change my desktop maybe once every 4-5 years.
