You live in Mexico, isn't there super cheap good Mexican food there?

Im kinda picky about what i eat. I mean ill eat anywhere but i very much prefer food prepared by my with ingredients Ive bought. Shopping and cooking is so time consuming though so im trying to streamline it a bit by finding someone to do a lot of the shopping and prep work and then making myself larger portoins that can be reheated later.

Theres some decent stand food but most of the restaurants we frequent are somwhat close to US prices. It is a tourist town afterall. But i treat most meals as just getting food into me than a ceremony or w/e most ppl do. Obv like going out with some of the Rosa bros, but just in general its just a task. Back when my laptop battery wasnt ****ed i could move it around with me while i cooked and usually up to 8 table or at least be doing **** in the kitchen with a few mtts left.

Turned today into my 2nd half day off of the week, definitely need to go into lockdown mode until Monday if I plan on getting the 45 hours in . Have 5 days left, so that's what, 6 hours/day. Easily doable, but need to buckle down and quit dicking around so much midday.


Did well today with keeping my table count in check and played a 2 hour session to start the day; definitely need to start upping my avg session length as starting and stopping so often really crushes the VPP/hr.

Solid day today even though I got less hours than I hoped for. Gonna scratch that freeroll I offered for table count....can't pass up good games when they come and today I had >20 tables up almost all day long, getting up to 33 6m hypers up at its peak. I've been tabling hard long enough now to where like 22 and under and I feel pretty darn comfortable, although I think 18 is still my real sweet spot where I'm really active all the way through and adjusting based on whose in the bb, to my left, to my right, etc.



Ruse and I are doing an hours bet this Friday/Saturday/Sunday, the person that loses has to pay $20 for every hour he finishes behind the winner. So if I put in 30 hours this weekend and Ruse puts in 40, I'd owe him $200. Hoping to grind an absolute ****ton of hours this weekend, although when tabling hard, it's very hard for me to play more than 1.5 hours at a time. Just need to cut down my break time and not take like 2 different 2-3 hour breaks per day, and I'll start getting a lot of hrs per day


Don't really have anything else for today, went to ollies to get pizza with cozzy and have just popped 1/4th of a xanax and grabbed a beer, so should be nice and relaxed and ready for bed in a couple hours.

Spent my day getting a backup internet stick from a different company and hopefully will glitch at different times when/if it does, and getting some modiodal (pg13 adderal) for my mirco millions lockdown. Also managed to get a couple dozen mtts and a few hundred sngs in. Won for the most part but knocked my power out and cost a good 5 minutes, and then my interent wouldnt get going again after my laptop restarted. Ended in me sitting out a decent bit of 60/9m. ****s been getting expensive lately but a solid wired internet just inst gonna happen for a while and ive got a second aircard backup and am gonna have a laptop i can walk outside and find internet as soon as i get my new battery. Still not sure what to do with getting new laptop. Hopefully kind find some rosa guy to have it shipped to. I hate losing all this money and there have to be alternatives but ive tried a ton and honeslty might just have to start accepting a larger "shrinkage" to put in in retail terms.

Gonna worry about it after micromillions. Obv decent scores are next to impossible but playing big field mtts are fun and i got some dollars in pools over in mttc that makes it worth while. And ive been grinding games on the side with them, and as soon as i trust my internet im hoping ill be able to play more and higher with them.

Be having some good MTT runs and though I dont believe in being "due" I feel like my skill level and ability to play equity based poker instead of scared money deep, both thnks I majorly leaked even recently, is gonna lead to some decent success soon. I learned a harsh lesson about what seemingly light MTTing can do to a SNGers roll, so Im gonna focus on micro rebuys, low-mid turbos and up to 33 hot and 55 big. That still is gonna need a chuck but grinding lower stakes 9m along side will provide some immediate table profit to compensate.

Like I was talking to Jdawg at dinner about the other night, something like that is gonna require a heavy night of midstake 6m grinding for vpps. But as long as I can do those nightly "chores" and go hard with higher stakes 9m on weekends once i get my roll going again, I think Ill be able to have a daily grind I look forward to and one that can challenge me a lot more than just a year full of 9m hyps and turbos and 6m hypers.

might need some of these "harsh lesson" details ruse. every damn day is like "oh, I made $300 in hypers, not bad". whoops, I lost $800 in MTTs on a tuesday. What tourneys would you play then if you cut out most 44's, 55's? most $5-$10 tourneys are better to be skipped since hyper hourly is better. Curious to ur MTT game selection thoughts though, I def struggle with wtf to do there.

Wow so the morning was going fine and dandy until about 6:30am when 2 of my buddies came barging in. Gramps it's way less about location than it is associating with certain types and leaving yourself vulnerable. I know way less than Josh and dont want to speak specifics about peoples situations. But it seems that one grinder moved in with a local who didnt seem to work but got his way into the grinder social circle and maybe have lead to some of this.
