The improvements in results coincide with changing up when I grind, moving down a bit, and game selecting more. The beginning of the upswing, I was still playing 300s/500s all the time (now I'm not really, basically playing $200 and under), I was just actually game selecting instead of playing every game that popped.....we can't all be Gramps .






Just woke up, gonna either get in a session or go out and do a couple errands and grab some food, pending on how the games look. Hopefully traffic won't get as withered tonight as it did last night....actually had to load $30 6m HTs for a while which was ****ing obnoxious

Internet has been cutting in and out for >1 hr now, can't grind until I know it's stabilized as my backup main still hasn't been turned back on (****** annoying) and jllama no longer lives 1 door over so can't connect to his main line either.

Not going to grind solely on aircard, its a good backup but I don't trust it + I can't grind w/out music and playing music with aircard obv = gg lots of data

Hopefully it'll get better, about 1 hr off the freeroll being dunzo

My aircard has been ****ing up all week so i wouldnt grind w just that.

Pretty withered final session, gonna shower the freerolls for a couple days because I played pretty badly that final session and wouldn't have played it if I didn't have to get that last hour in. Maybe will just use the freeroll days 1-2 days a week when I want to go extra hard and make it 8-9 hrs.


Ran pretty ****ing lol again today, like 7k under EV past 2 days. Oh well, just gotta keep putting in volume and playing well and results should come.

Finally got around to emailing PS and having them email me all my hands this yr so I could get accurate graphs + have all my hh's in a DB.

#'s won't totally match Sharkscope as I had to delete all the SCOOP $714 hyper sats along with some other SCOOP sat's as they didn't record in HM2 correctly....aka no matter the result, your green line went straight down

Anyway below are my $200 and under 6m and then my $300+ 6m. Quite the brutal yr thus far, but hard work should pay off in the long run.

Has there a lot of bad play so far this yr? Definitely, I haven't been grinding in the right mind set for some entire weeks this yr. Have I played in a lot of games I'm not profitable in? Yep for sure, wasn't game selecting at all until very recently, and a ton of super gross games go off during peak at 200s+! Is my EV line probably getting dragged down by the runbad? Yea I would think so





Can't focus on the past though, just have to keep working on playing my best, playing in the best games, and grinding with a good attitude and making sure I'm playing as close to my A game as I can at all times!

So long June. Just shy of SNE pace for the month but best VPP month Ive had and definitely makes me feel like I have what it takes to get caught up. Also was pretty lazy until the 10th when I did the hours prop with jdawg, so did like 120k vpp pace for the last 3 weeks of month.

Would have been nice to run better and put in more volume for the first half of the year but overall Im pretty happy. Ive built myself a decent bankroll and an okay liferoll. Ive improved my game a ton and gotten comfortable playing the 60s and 100s. And most importantly Ive experienced way higher swings than i had before and have built up my pain tolerance.

Aside from my poker goals for the last half of the year I also want to work a lot of my spending habits. I just recently started realizing how dumb it is to be nitty when it comes to taking shots at higher BIs i know I can beat, but have no issue dropping 800 dollars on a night I black out and dont remember. Gonna try to start making weekly and monthly budgets and hopefully that will make it less painful to start adding in 200 9m or mixing in 60/6m instead of 30s.

So as luck would have it Jdawg mentioned wanting to play in a liveament in LA the same weekend my brother is getting married there. It's a 550 with 3 day ones and i believe unlimited rebuys. Im planning on playing at least thursday and maybe friday depending on family obligations and I believe Jdawg is playing all 3 day ones. Should be a fun weekend all around and will be my first live over a year. Feel like Im a drastically better player than I was a year ago so really looking forward to it.

Also planning on giving my brother a freeroll for his wedding present and doing a 24 hour grind next sunday and giving him a % of my rakeback and cashes. Prob gonna make PGC thread so he can sweat, should be fun.

Gl to everyone in July and the second half of the year. Gonna crank out a few hours of 6m and try and get the month off right.

Games were popping really well all night long which was sweet; ran absurdly ****ing bad in CD though, was such a joke of a day. Looks like SS missed a bunch of games today, says I've played 505 at -$2267 pre RB and I actually played 548 and lost $3769 pre RB.
