Went pretty hard with the MTTs this weekend, had a pretty ****ty Saturday but bounced back Sunday getting 4th in the 108^3 on ongame for 6k and 2nd in the €215 €20k on ladbrokes for 6k as well. Had a bunch of other runs as well, 2nd 27 tko for like 1k, 4th 26 8k ko on ftp, lot of other deep runs etc.

Didn't really grind a lot of hypers this past week, gonna try to get better with the ole HT grind this week, sitting in 257k vpps right now.

Heh, haven't really posted much in here lately, just don't have anything to share (rain), just been withering away grinding a lot of hrs and having a ton of fun MTTing even though I haven't been making too many $$sies.

So with this ****ty, always changing weather, I've been battling a sinus infection (as has my mom, we both get them in the spring), and it's getting the best of me today....been sleeping a ton anyway but today was so exhausted I barely grinded. Gonna just rest up the next couple days and not force the volume, if I feel good, I'll play and if I want to rest, I'll just do that. Want to make sure I'm ready to play a full weekend of MTTs, really stoked these days to get in those big mtt sessions playing across a ton of sites.

Ended up getting 2nd in a 82 6m ht on monday for 3.2k and then cashed the Super Tuesday last night, was the first time I played it outside of SCOOP/WCOOP time, so was cool to cash it . Also lost a flip for 1/18 and nearly 2x chips as 2nd in the big 109 yesterday, woulda been sick but good ole TayPaur won the flip (rain).

Sitting on about 265k vpps now, going to bed to rest as soon as my PA is done working, she just made a pretty bomb meal of steak, french fries, beans and tortillas; was really F good but making me an extra sleepy bro now

I think it highly depends on the person, but also the format you're playing. i used to blaze while playing and if I was playing mtts for a living, i think i would prefer playing high. With that being said though, I can't keep up with hypers when I'm high as ****, and that's one of my downfalls....can't put the bong down, so i end up getting too high .

I don't think people literally play better when high, but if it puts you in the right attitude/gives you motivation to grind, then sure, it can yield better results.

Hey, so I haven't been updating very much lately as I've just been kinda over being social and whatnot, just a weird mood I've been in while dealing with this ridiculous sinus infection. Felt a lot better starting today, Thursday night had someone go pick me up prescription medicines as I was taking tylenol and ibuprofen and couldn't get rid of the absurd fever I was running. For those of you who remember, last year about this time was when I ended up going to the hospital with many of the same ailments, sinus infection turned really high fever that wouldn't break for 72+ hours. Hate being sick, I really need to quit partying as I only get sick after I've spent long nights in Tijuana drinking my face off. Luckily, once I get this sick, I'm usually over drinking and partying for >1 month, so hopefully will just be grinding really hard up through SCOOP in may.

Yea so that's that, pokerwise like I said, barely have played since Last Sunday as I've spent the majority of the time being sick. I've still barely played any hyper hours this yr, under 200 I think total still, but I'm still well above SNE pace so that's fine...now that I've got MTTs on another stake, I've really been enjoying playing full weekend MTT schedules and embracing the variance, not having to worry about punting SNG profits back at MTTs.

Unfortunately, I'm not running that well in meaningful tournaments. Today I took 3rd in the $54 speed 3k (party's version of a turbo on PS) on Party and 2nd in the $108 speed 8k, which was nice, but the 'big' ft's didn't go my way, 7th in the early $109 15k fo on PS, 7th or 8th in the $75 10k fo on FTP and then 8th in the $55 multi-fifty on FTP when I was 4/8 (rain). I ft'd both the early $109 15k fo and the $75 10k last Saturday as well, and iirc I got 6th and 4th, just not finishing em off .

Yea so unfortunately not running too hot when it's needed, on top of ^^ finishes also lost a flip for 1/18 and >2x chips as 2nd in the Big 109 earlier this week and then lost AK to AQ for a ton of chips to bust 7th in the Hot 109....hopefully I'll improve on last Sunday's performance where I took 4th in the 108^3 on Ongame, 2nd in the 215 euro 20k euro guarantee on Ladbrokes + 2 other ft's, vamosssssssss Sunday
