Assuming mass tabling, moving up, etc.
I'm just really curious/concerned about the 'beatability' of the games on stars at those stakes.
And yeah live@pompeii, unblock your stats!!

Haven't checked SS, but for the best 5% is probably out there for $15s, although if you are that good then $15s are probably a waste of time. Typical decent reg is probably 2-3%. If you are beating $30s at all then you are decent, but 2% and possibly more could be out there for guys like jdawg/quadz.
I dumped $6k for a stretch at the $30s and I had a 2% roi at the time, so while $5k is "fine" be prepared for that, and obviously more than that if you intend to venture to the $60s.
Also experience in these games is a huge factor, so if you don't have much HT experience you need to accept playing thousands of games before you start to even get a decent idea of things.
Good post all around by sippin, I'll just add in something that is probably going to come off as mean, but w/e....do I think that I could move with a $5k poker br and successfully start playing $15 hypers and beating them for a good ROI, quickly improving at them and quickly moving up like a boss....yes I do, and that would go for a select few other regs I know, but no, I don't think the typical US reg (or typical small stakes PS reg) could do that successfully as they usually aren't that great of a reg to begin with, having many leaks etc and they also don't know how to REALLY study properly and improve their game as quickly as they should.
Also what sippin said about experience is huuuge, I was just talking about this with Zima last night at dinner; these 6m 25bb starting hypers are such a weird format, many a MTT reg come into these games thinking to themselves 'oh well I know how to play <25bb, i know how to play push/fold' etc etc and it's just not the same thing at all.
If I missed anything, lemme know

Done for the night, which means that January is over! Guess it was a successful month considering I didn't really start until ~Jan 14th and I lost a good 8k due to power outages + just went straight downward at $200s to start the year.
If this is the worst month of the year I have (which I'm hoping it will be), I'll be a pretty happy bro tbh. Really looking forward to the low variance $60-100 grind for the foreseeable future, especially now that I'm getting 85% of my profit.
I have high hopes for February-May, I am really wanting to grind a full WSOP schedule, although that might change if I'm enjoying the online grind a ton....nonetheless to prepare for playing a full schedule, I need to grind a ton of hours so I can still hit my 1800 hour goal for the year if I miss a few months due to the WSOP.
January Overview:
Games Played: 8869
Hours: 101.3
VPPs: 161,580.56
