about how many hours/games a day on avg are you playing? And how many vpps' a day are you averaging?

Good luck!

Haha might make another video at some point, not really something I like to do though as by watching a full sesh of mine, regs can REALLY quickly pick up how I play.

I personally am hoping to put in 1800 hrs this yr which works out to 180/month if I work 10 months total. I don't have a set schedule, but I'd like to just try to consistently play 40 hrs a week. And now that I've moved down stakes, I'm getting about 1250 vpp/hr, so if I worked 5 8 hour days a week, that would work out to 10k vpps every day I worked.

Not sure at all on Ruse's #'s, maybe he can shed some light on that when his selfban is over.

Good start to the day, hopefully will keep up as the day goes on! Not a bad way to start after taking 50% of my own action starting today...was waiting for an insta doomswitch .

Going to study a bit before late reg ends for the 11r 6m PLO 3x TCOOP, then late reg that, pop an addy (take maybe 2/month on avg) and hopefully be able to pump some good hrs out.

Graph so far today:

obv np if you'd rather not, but could you explain how taking 50% of your own action works in practise? like do you eat half your MU out of your own $?

Yea nps. It's basically the same thing, but instead of my backer having 100% of my action, he only has 50%. So my cut is 70/30 in my favor, so I used to just get 70% of my overall profit whereas now I'll obviously keep 100% of the profit on my 50% piece and then in addition get 70% of my backers 50% (that sounds confusing). We can look at 2 examples.

Example A:
-Backer has 100% of my action
-I profit $100,000 total
-Since my deal is 70/30, I end up with $70,000 and he ends up with $30,000

Example B:
-Backer has 50% of my action, I own 50% of the actoin
-I profit $100,000 total
-I keep $50,000 for my 50%, and then get 70% of the other $50,000, or $35,000 making my piece of the profit $85,000 total and my backers $15,000

Should make sense with the examples, the written version above is confusing

can you tell me a good resource to get into the material... im experiencing in 6max turbos and wanna know what ROIs are sustainable in those formats...

leaning more towards turbos than hypers but could switch if the difference is huge.
01-23-2013 , 05:16 PM
glgl the rest of the day. how comfortable are you with the impending money swings to your life roll now that you have 50% of your own action? Do you think it will make the process of hypers any more stressful or will you still be able to just play and not worry about day to day results?

im obv not josh but just in regards to turbos there are plenty of training sites with turbo vids that could give you a good start. hyper turbos apparently there isn't much info out there yet (and they wanna keep it that way!)

Buying 50% of your swings for 15% profit seems mad, but I guess you've thought about it and if you're confident in profiting then I guess it's worth it. I take it all the bonuses are 70/30 (or 85/15 now) as well?

Nice turnaround after the bad start and timeouts etc, good luck!

Yea pretty much what Tyler said, not really much info on the hypers but there are many a training site with info on 6m turbos. Honestly don't know which site is best, I never watched training videos as I never thought they were a good way to learn.

I wouldn't have this action if I was still playing $200s but now that I'm only playing $60s-100s, the swings won't be that bad and I feel very confident.

15% of 150k+ adds up to be a lot

And yea, everything was 70/30, now 85/15 ofc

Sleep a bit longer than I had planned, w/e. Gotta get in 10+ hours again today, hopefully >11.

Gonna keep my table counter lower today, last night during offpeak played every $60-100 that popped and probs had 11 tables up on avg and played a 4hr and 3hr session, usually can't go longer than 1.5 hrs when 16-24 tabling.
01-24-2013 , 10:24 AM
What sort of sample size do you think you need to start see if you are beating that stake or not? 5k/10k/20k?

Like 10k games and you can maybe kinda see how things are going, takes like 30k games to actually have a really good idea though IMO

1.6 hours in so far, failed at keeping my table count low, haha. Was legit last night because I was kinda forced to keep it low as I was just playing every $60 and $100 that popped and the traffic obvs meh at night.
