Dropping mid 5 figs on the way to SNE isnt a huge accomplishment so Ill save the Oscars speech for another time. But Id like to thank Jdawg and Mecastyles for their help the last couple months. Helping a poker competitor is the truest form of altruism. Actually Jdawgs been helping me out since the first night i showered my ATM limits early but thatd take up too much time.

Most of the stuff I wanted to talk about can be done by answering questions so Ill just do that.

Yeah Marty that multiplier is the extra piece cheese that kept me going. Ill definitely say that how your grind ethic wasnt deterred by bumps in the road was something i tried to copy.

Thx guys. It was a hard grind but the value of SNE created a situation where I was forced to grind through the runbad, tech problems and fatigue issues that Id always used before to quit early. Because of the sheer number of hours I needed to grind I resorted to having a stopwatch on at all times to time breaks. Id also time my sessions to ensure I regged long enough to maximize games and rake / hour. It was essentially turned into irl job and while it was tedious and uncomfortable at first, the structure eventually became somewhat centering/soothing. And it reintroduced me to the sweat of waiting for the break bell.



I gave the stress free 9m grind a try this year but didnt work that well


Cant remember what I made lastlast year and not exactly sure what i made last year, but i think I made 5k to 10k less maybe. Ran a tad better last year and future value of SNG will more than fill that gap so Im relatively happy with my progress. Grinding those gross late year games forced me to study and improve more than ever had before and those gains in skill are prob worth a lot.

Yeah Logan Im looking for the positive I can take from this. One thing Ive come upon is how unhealthy Ive been in letting results control my ego and how I view my game. Not only in how hot streaks have me playing higher and studying less, but also how i let losses effect my confidence and how Ill games that might have me lose and damage my ego.

The SNE mult lets you keep a smaller roll and makes it easier to grind one up masstabling lower stakes. So Im going to try to be less reactionary and emotional when it comes to game selecting this year.

Yeah humbling for sure. Lit a fire under my ass to get better. Also the increased volume made me question a lot of the non ingame grind systems I had in place and lead to some shortcuts and improvements. Whether I can follow through wo the dagger hanging over my head remains to be seen.

Been sleeping more frequently and each sleep is 1.5x longer than before so 3 hour nap instead of 2 and 9 hour night sleep instead of 6. Body's starting to ache which is a welcome change from the general numbness I felt the last week or so. I need to spend a lot of money and have someone tell me what to buy and how to sit in it.

Prob gonna do one last freeroll ITT before starting new one. Will fig out tmrw.

My best guess is it's blowback from some larger cartel violence that's going on. Vigilantes tired of cartel violence and government corruption basically arrested all the cops and dealt with the criminals as they saw fit in Michoacan.

So not sure if something similar is happening here but whenever cartels take a hit a power vacuum forms and rival cartels are gonna make moves on them and their allies all over. Kinda scary cause i ate at that restaurant 3 days before the murder but it seems to be targeted violence/assassinations. Obv ppl can get caught in the crossfire but at least theyre not just opening up on everyone they see on a random corner and they seem to be trying to minimize "civilian" casualties so there's that.
