Been talking a lot with Jdawg about goals for next year and what Id like to do is grind MTTs and fill with 6m hypers or some kind of 9m thatll let me get SNE. Want 30k sng roll, 20k MTT roll, and at least that much for IRL and staking/other investing options. It all comes back to getting SNE though so back to work.
Big congrats to Jdawg for being modded in STTF. Not only happy for him but happy for the forum cause Ive been in STTF for half a decade and love seeing the addition of a pro SNGer to the mod lineup.

My father would love to go, but my mom would kill both of us if she found out we
went, and I'm pretty sure she'd find out. Light sleeper, doesn't sleep very many
hours per night, plus we'd probably come home ****housed making a ton of noise.

I started the yr backed and was backed all of last yr and had part of my own action
to start this yr when I went on my huge DS, between running bad when having some of
my own action and RL leaks WRT spending, I'm fairly busto right now.
Now that my spending is under control and I'm not really interested in doing anything
other than grinding, I think 2014 will be a good yr, gotta start building for the
future if I'm putting this huge gap in my resume...no more ****** around.
1. I just take solace in the fact that my EV looks alright considering how bad I've
run, getting emotional and emo about this **** doesn't help any, so best to just not
do that
2. Games have gotten a lot tougher this yr, hard to tell the differences in skill
levels between a lot of the players. I'm clearly running bad, I'm >$100k under EV
.
3. I still study almost every day and in the recent 2 months have been working on my
game more than ever with one of my buddies, and I think I've been playing pretty well
lately. Looking fwd to putting more study in while I'm on my vacation from grinding

Okay since my post didn't work last time, this is gonna be a much shorter version
lulz. I'll post pics etc when I get back home to Illinois, stuck on aircard right
now so uploading pics would kill the data.
Been fairly busy the last few days, went on a wine tour in Ensenada yesterday for ~9
hrs which was pretty sweet. All went well other than our first of six winery stops;
our tour got delayed as we were waiting on 'important' guests (that's literally what
they said to our faces lol). Turned out to be a chef and his family from France that
owns a restaurant that serves Mexican cuisine and they were looking for a wine
supplier. Was kind of a ****ed up situation as we never even went on a tour as that
man and his fam weren't interested in anything but tasting the wine and buying, so we
didn't even get a tour, albeit it was pretty much open bar there with them there and
I drank a TON of wine.
But yea, rest of the day went pretty smoothly, made a lot of stops at wineries +
local stores on our way driving around, and then went to a nice restaurant out in the
middle of nowhere where all the roads are dirt etc. Was a fun day overall, know my
parents were pretty tired after all the walking yesterday.
Mostly relaxing today, just got back from lunch and then will be going out to dinner
tonight, other than that think we're just chillin for the most part today. Will
definitely be putting in more volume tonight and then probably playing the entire
night on Sunday night as we leave to head stateside Monday morning; last chance to
playyyyy! Plus I want to be dead tired Monday night as we're going to be stuck in a
hotel in San Diego as our flight doesn't leave til 4am Tuesday morning, so just
grinding and not sleeping the night before will lead to just being able to pass out
instead of being bored to death at the hotel.
Grinded a bit last night, did put in a big study session as I haven't been playing
too much recently and am pretty happy with how I'm playing. Definitely play
differently on avg in these offpeak games compared to the reggy peak games, and have
been pleased with my decisions based on the players around me at the table.
Hopefully will hit an upswing here as I seem to just keep adding to the amount I'm
under EV every single day.

maybe walk the beach. Gla this weekend!
