About maybe 1/3rd-1/2 done with my day, dem hyper satssss. Hoping to get in at least 1500 games today, not playing the $74s to the Sunday 215 WCOOPs cuz im a pussy atm/need to study more ht sat spots so sticking to $50 and under bi's for today, overall feeling good about how im playing so far...700+ games and run about 150 spots ive marked. Plus obv got decent at the games during SCOOP when i was playing the $357s/$714s, just wanting to refresh my memory

Well that was fun, def the most SNGs Ive played in a day. I played >1000 on Merge in a day a few times, but def never hit 1500

Haha yea I've effectively cleared MU by about $10k or so with the remaining bonuses I have to come including the big $20k one for 1mil, which is why I'm just playing smaller stakes until I hit SNE....really hurting for the cashout $'s right now, don't wanna risk a DS at 60s/100s/74 hyper sats etc and lose said cashout, so playing kiddie games til I get there .

Had a decent day SNG wise yday playing all those games and b/e+ pre RB, too bad I got showered in all 3 WCOOP events. Ran AK into AA for ~35k at 150/300 in the kickoff, lost a couple 70/30's in the 3rd and 4th hour of the 215 6m to bust and then the mil replacement had a guy call a 3.5x pot overjam with a draw and got there on me (rain). Also had KK<Ax for a good stack about 100 off the $'s in the 109 6m 2nd chance and lost an 80/20 to bust the Hotter 75 near the $'s. W/e, least it made me hate MTTs again so I won't be wasting my time adding in other events outside of my $5200 ticket I already broke down nor will I bother to play miniftops....focus on that SNE!


Anyway, plan for the week is to just pound out a lot of $30 6m 25bb games monday-friday, then will probably grind hyper sats Saturday morning to the $109 WCOOP event and maybe just continue to play hyper sats all Saturday and Sunday, not real sure tbh.

Anyway, about to get on the grind, hoping for 500+ $30s today, vamosss

Tyty, yea definitely is time to salvage the yr, especially with the deal I have with my backer where I'm seeing a large majority of all my profits. Still going to be super disappointing that I have basically 0 chance to make 100k profit off of poker this yr, but a lot of lessons were learned and I've become a much better player this yr.

And thankfully I don't rely on grinding as my sole source of income

Didn't really grind much today, didn't feel well when I woke up and ended up going back to bed until about 10:30am and then woke up and went and got bfast with one of my roommates and picked up apowers1968 as his place didn't have internet and he needed to grind the COOPs obv. Ended up playing a couple super short sessions, but mostly just fcked off for the day.

The hyper sats have been looking really good and there's been huge volume in them (both the WCOOP sats (obv) but also increased traffic in the daily sats), so I'm going to just go at them hard for the rest of COOP season. Tbh, with this heightened volume, my hourly for sure has to be better than playing $30 6m hts, and I haven't been playing $60s/100s during peak for the past few weeks. Combine that with the fact that my skillset is better equipped for shortstack play and the adjustments necessary on said stacksizes, I think grinding just the sats this month is easily the best play.

So yeh, going real hard tomorrow, will be interesting to see how many ht sats it's possible to get in during a random weekday here during COOP season, only playing the $56 and under bi's for the time being, def not gonna mess with the $74s+ until I get SNE done with, if I even play them at all.

Anyway going to bed soon, gonna probably wake up sometime around 7am tomorrow and get ready to hit the grind by no later than 8. Graphs below, gla!

Its a (poolparty) kind of start to the day, taking a quick break then back at it. Have studied ~250 spots so far today, feeling pretty darn good with how I'm playing in these games

Silly thing is I could drop all this back in the next 250 games in this format

How long does it take you to hammer through 250 spots? I mark around 125 a day and consider myself gold if I get through half of them feeling like I firmed up some spots.

Honestly I'm liking them quite a bit, think these games actually are a better fit for my strengths (shortstack play and the adjustments made based on all the factors around you compared to my meh >15bb play in the 25bb starting hypers), too bad they didn't run this well yr round/had more fish playing them, because I'd love to play them for a living.

Think during COOP seasons playing the ht sats is going to be the best option for me, otherwise I don't see it being best for my hourly, other than maybe Saturday morning to the $320 SKO and then Sunday morning to the SWU/Mil.

Not that long, just a lot of plugging in hands and adjusting ranges/other small things. Probably like 20 mins to go through ~50 hands (i usually have ~50 hands marked and then will stop playing and look at them)

Nah it isn't for me either. I use HM2, but had broken my EV line which is why I was posting HM1 EV graphs....I fixed the redline today (as you'll see below), but the hyper sats still don't have working EV, here's what it looks like

Before getting into todays results, here's my HM2 EV line along with my HM1 EV line (from Aug 1 when I started a new DB); I finally fixed my HM2 EV as I was trying to get a redline for the hyper sats. As you can see, HM1 EV isn't rlly that far off from HM2 which is confirmed accurate, which is always what I argued when there were people saying that HM1 EV was like 10-30% off (I remember demetri1968 saying this specifically)

Got in a solid grind today and ran well which is always nice (sun), sucks not having working EV but my Cev is looking alright and I think I'm playing pretty well and not spewing on bubbles as much as most guys are.

Finding I'm liking these games even more just because there's set tournaments I'm shooting to grind sats to and so I always have a short term goal every hour and then there's just more sats loading up....hoping my motivation to keep grinding all the time during the day will continue as I'm used to having to battle myself to start loading the 25bb games.

Hoping to put up another big grind tomorrow, and hopefully will take less breaks during the day; kept stopping to study hands which def hurts the games/hr.
