It only changes the situation if it lowers your ROI. In general 10bb games have less edges than 25bb, but FT seems overall fishier than stars so might even out. All the suggestions should be about the same, just remember the main factor in bankroll and swings is what you beat the games for.

Once you grind up a bit Id recommend moving to stars to play the 1.50s. Better structure, higher winrates if you stick w FTP once you get to the 20s and above there just isnt enough traffic to grind most of the day.

Honestly I'll have days where I'm completely over playing hypers/supers but then a couple days playing MTT's and I'm hating them as well and ready to be back grinding hypers .

That's why I think I have the perfect grind right now, hypers during the week with w/e MTTs I want to play and then MTTs on the weekends.

Don't really want to get into what makes a bad reg bad or a weak reg weak in my eyes, sorry.

To Rusti, Ruse gave some good advice, just wanted to point out that my EV ROI is higher at the ftp 10 bb no ante super turbos compared to my EV ROI at ps 25bb hyper turbos....games are much softer there and I think I'm a ton better at that format than most people are. With that being said, I still grind basically solely PS as there isn't enough volume on FTP

Got in the 6 hours requiredd for the freeroll, really tilts me how HM2 adds up the hours incorrectly; adds them individually from each stake so yesterday after my first 3 hour session it said I had played 9 hours already (facepalm). If anyone knows where to get an accurate # of hours within HM2, lemme know!


Games were alright yesterday, couple points in time where I couldn't play any 300s/500s cuz there were 6 decent+ reg games going, but I just played 100s/soft 200s then and waited it out, which is what I need to be doing instead of just quitting my sessions when I can't get in any volume at the 300s/500s. Think I'm getting better in that regard, and that's a huge step to hopefully getting me to grind more hours overall.



Besides grinding yesterday, went out to a nice dinner with a couple new arrivals in my tower, Sean and Dan + Dan's gf. Their house internet isn't set up yet, Sean has an aircard so he's just been grinding on that, but Dan's been coming down and grinding at my place, been fun to have a little company while grinding + he plays HU PLO so been interesting to talk through a couple hands with him as I'm consistently trying to improve my PLO game.

Also watched the newest episode of Bates Motel before going to bed, big fan of that show. A lot of people don't know about it, it's a modern day prequel to the sweet Alfred Hitchcock movie Psycho, showing how Norman Bates became Norman Bates. Big fan of the show so far, would recommend it for sure; I actually learned about it from Starting Gun, tyty sir!

Anyway, no freerolls today as my stripper friend Mayari might be coming to hangout today as it's her offday, will probably be offering them Wed-Fri though.

And the song I've been listening to before every session the past ~5 days, obvs in my misery when DS was still full on . Better days are coming though!

Games were loading pretty slowly and pretty reggy at $100s/200s, got a few 6 reg games at $100s which was ****ing obnoxious, unreal the # of guys willing to fill up a game being the 6th reg.

Ended up just cutting the session way short and went out to Chiltepenos (wing spot) in Rosarito with Sean, Dan and his gf. Been pretty nice having people in my tower that want to go out to eat a lot; after Starting Gun/live@pompeii, King-Nit and DeionSandals moved out of the Calafia penthouse and moved farther south of town and Ruse moved back to his place way north of town, I've lost my regular dinner buddies and not been able to go out to eat as much as I'd like.

Anywho, just finished studying a couple hands I marked during my session, gonna probably fire up another session unless the games look ****ty in which then it's nap time .

Didn't play a lot more today as the games weren't loading that well, found myself like 8-12 tabling while playing 100s-500s and mixing in a few 60s here and there which was absurd for it being about 4pm-5pm hours; ended up just showering it and went down the road to play some OFC against Apowers as per my normal play when I'm doing nothing...lost like 400 to him, w/e. Running pretty bad at OFC and been making some errors but w/e.


Tomorrow I plan on putting in a decent bit of volume, but also have my PA working at my place so I'll get stuck not loading while I wait for her to show up as I get really flustered when I have to sprint to the door when she shows up, sprint back to the comp and miss hands/be hurried while she's talking to me, seems like it's really minor but I really think it tilts me enough that I lose a lot of $'s in w/e games are loading, so now I just make sure I'm not playing by 11am as she shows up in between 11am and 2pm to start working....give her instructions and then will get on the grind.


Anyway, off to bed in a few mins, gonna wake up at 8am when the 26 plo miniftops starts and get at it I believe.

Graph since Saturday ended up peaking at +40k, then I went on like a 5k downswing to end my day yesterday, hoping I don't snap drop back 40k, but if it happens, it happens...just have to grind through it and keep a good mindset always.

Going to be attempting to put in a lot of hyper hours today, we'll see how 2 tabling the miniftops 10game and playing hypers together goes today, kind of going to be a trial for during SCOOP season as I'm planning on playing literally every FO event $1050 and under other than the $1050 nl 5cd including all the mixed games; need to see what kind of table count is going to be best when I'm going to have 2 mixed games (low and medium SCOOP) up a lot of the time.

Got stuck about 12k right off the bat today but ended up battling through it and almost got even on the day! Not much else exciting happened, just sat around and grinded it up today while playing miniftops.

Realized today playing the 6m 10game MET miniftops that it's pretty darn hard to multitable mixed games and also play hypers, so will be just 300/500 grinding whenever i have mixed games up during SCOOP.

Off to bed in a couple mins, gotta be up in about 6 hours for MTTs, gla tomorrow!
