Hehe yea mastfrew got it right, not really that happy with my results this yr, but considering how bad the year started, shouldn't complain too much either. Hopefully they just get better as the yr goes on

L@P has been doing a charity grind thread in PG&C for >1 month now, going all year long if anyone wants to join in.
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/17...-vpps-1304700/

Finally fig'd out where I'm going to have my money go, one of my HS friends whose still 21 has Stage IV Squamous Cell Carcinoma, hoping she gets through it w/out any problems, just really sucks being so young and having cancer obviously . Gonna probably donate to her benefit account for the rest of the yr, something between 1c/5vpp-1c/10vpp

Anywho, gonna study and get back on the grind, got rapeddddd in a short session earlier including bricking all 7 $300s+ I played, gonna drop 300s+ for a bit I think, really need to hit another few profit cashouts before I feel comfortable possibly building a large MU amount

Only at about 1 hour on the day so far, gonna push through and get 6 done though before going to bed
04-05-2013 , 06:29 AM
Got dem hours in, well stopped loading and finished 3 mins short of 6.0 hours, but same difference

Ended up playing soft 300s and 500s again that last sesh, can't stand not regging the softest games...will just get more nitty with my game selection in them til I'm more financially comfortable.

Tomorrow probs get in a small grind, going out to dinner + have to be up early to start the weekend MTT grind!

Sitting on right about 300k vpps

(facepalm) EV line today in 60s-200s

Off to bed in a couple mins, gl tomorrow! No freeroll as I don't really have any hours goal in mind tomorrow as I have plans + have to be up really early Saturday
04-05-2013 , 05:41 PM
Put in a quick afternoon game selecting sesh of HS SNGs, just playing like 4-10 tables at a time of $300+ 6m turbo and $200+ 6m hyper. Bout to head out and chill with a couple buddies for a while + gotta give 1 of em some pesos, then to pay my internet bill and finally grab food and then head back and grind a bit this evening before heading to bed early as I'll be up bright and early Saturday morning for the MTT grind!

Gla this weekend

Well that was an annoying session

$500s were pretty good today so had to play the good ones, annoying but super std DS for that abi

MTTs went ****, almost done with them for the day, quit early as I wasnt feeling well earlier in the day

Stoked for both Sunday MTT grind tomorrow and then for Monday to come around, even though I lost a bunch today, really liking the hyper grind now that I'm playing up to 500s, just much more excitement and not so monotonous.

Sorry for posting here but I need an answer asap as I am tilted out of my ****** skull right now. I play HU hypers at $7s, I get it in AQ vs AJ and lose, my EV ROI somehow gets lowered because I lost that one, how can that be? I mean I am supposed to win more than I lose, shouldn't my EV ROI go up eventhough my actual profit goes down due to the loss?

How accurate is PT4 at calculating EV ROI?
    04-07-2013 , 12:59 PM
I know nothing about PT4, sorry man . I know there are EV bugs in HM1, so might be same in PT4, no idea tho really

That guy's a massive luckbox. He was on like a 100k $EV downer coming into this year, and now he's running a little bit above $EV for the year. OMGZMGMFG.

Go fixate on someone who actually is running really hot, or who isn't down a large amount of $EV lifetime in hypers.

I mean, all regs will always have some resentment towards other regs. Or at least it's pretty much always been that way.

Then you talk to another reg IRL and it's like, "oh, you're actually cool, it's that other different guy that we both can agree is a **** and runs too hot for his own good." Rinse and repeat.

Saying I'm a luckbox in hypers is just so super-LOL, unless the person just literally started playing them a few months ago. Then it's just lol.

So true. Unless someone's been grinding for years (not just < 1-2 years), they most likely don't understand macro-variance. People saying MO is the best is reaching (or whomever is the flavor of the month). He may or may not be, but the verdict will be out for another 1-2 years. What happened to Bigjoe2003? acoimbra? azntracker? WizardOfAhhs? They were all "the best" (or close to it) at one time or another. Kudos to you Gramps for representing a true grinder (and Jorj95, sippin, scossett, etc.)!

Yeah, longevity in any form of poker is definitely hard to come by. The game chews you up and everyone keeps improving constantly. I don't think I'm the best at all, I just try to adjust to everyone and keep my head above water.

I'm bitching here b/c I keep hearing references to the fact that I'm some super-luckbox in these 6-max hypers. In a format that's been around for less than 2 years, a format that I'm >$50k below $EV in lifetime. LOLOLOL.

As much as I would have loved to repeat my $70k below $EV performance from 2012 in that format, I didn't want to upstage wk7 in his quest to go where no man has gone before in 2013. Or maybe he's just saving the sick run-back/hot for the 2nd half of 2013 and we'll soon be complaining about how sick-hot he runs.

LolCompleteHijackamentsWtfJustHappened I'm sure Ruse and Josh are mired in their own runbad **** enough as it is.
