I think I'm going to go back to daily freerolls on w/e my goals are as they really help me stick it out on bad days to get the hrs, so plenty of chances in the future for everyone! I know for a fact Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday I'll be doing daily freerolls, possibly Tuesday but with small hours requirement as I leave very early Wednesday morning to head home

Been reading trough the whole thread and also the one you had last year Jdawg, and I got a couple of questions.

What is your motivation with poker, and sng/mtt in particular? Do you have a long range goal for your poker career?

Your working hard with your game and your playing alot, have you thought about switching format to a more profitable one (PLO for example)? My thoughts are like that you can easily reach the same success or even more with the same effort your putting into this format.

I think your very inspirational with your work ethic and approach to poker, and I think you are worthy all the success you will have. GL dude!

Takes a lot of time to learn a new game. He would probably have to become a decent winner at minimum midstakes to make as much money in plo in a year as he can make grinding out hypers. Winning at midstakes plo isn't an instantaneous thing no matter how hard you work so it makes sense imo to focus on making a lot of money now while maybe working on some extra game on the side when there is time. I remember awhile back I think jdawg said he was gonna try to work on his plo game on the side, it's possible he is still doing that.

Day started off just horrible again, straight downwards at 60s-100s and by 9am I was dunzo for the day. Gonna play if I feel like it Friday-Tuesday and if I don't, just not going to. Super withered month, I really should just grind through it, but if there's any time to just take an extra couple days off, it's before you go home to your family so that you know you'll be in a half decent mood when you're there . A few days away from poker during a brutal DS and I'll be my happy, normal self again. It's not even that the DS has affected my mood that much when I'm away from the computer, I'm still my normal ole happy self when I'm anywhere but at my computer, just sucks that I sit down and snap get OIOIOI

I'll respond to other **** later, still high and about to head to Ruse's place in a bit and then on to TJ for dinner, we'll see if HK happens or not, hopefully it won't but we'll be at a restaurant about 5 mins from there, so might be hard to say no after drinks at his place, wine/beer at the restaurant + im already 9 beers in on the day .

Oh yea, if I don't grind, I'm going to make sure and get my laptop I bought over Christmas time ready to grind on. Starting slowly to get poker related **** on it, PS dl'd, HM1 dl'd, TN dl'd, AHK dl'd etc etc, still have a lot of **** to get done though to get it ready to be played on but would like to be grinding on that when I get back to Mexico after my 22nd bday.

My one 28.5" is going bad so I barely use it, and I'd like to have a 2nd monitor to use while I'm grinding, so laptop/right hand 28.5" should be suffice

Nah its not. Its just a 2gbit, ISPs have much much faster. Or maybe not ISPs (to some point sure) but RINGs admins/owners.
