Getting ready to get started again today, ended up quitting on PS super early into my sesh today, gotta quit doing that though. Going hard on FTP first half of the day, will actually get in my full 3 hour break in between today as my PA won't be around, and then gonna try to get 4 hrs in on PS tonight.

Running soooo many chips under EV on FTP, remember 300 starting stacks itt and 1800 chips per table lol

Trying to learn these games, lucky if I get 200 games a day, meanwhile you two are smashing out 300+ on a quiet day. Worst part is the swings are so crazy I can't really tell if my study is working and improving...

Haha yea people highly underestimate the skill required to get good and comfy at the 25bb ht's, they think because they play mtts or because theyve played a lot of sngs in the past they can just come in and be completely comfortable and +EV in the games and that's not really true.

Gl learning the games, dont like giving out strat on them but just focus on all parts of your game, early, bubble, HU, everything.

Welp 3rd straight day it's gotten to be ~7pm and I'm so tired I cant even get myself to play PS, gonna have to start taking a nap during my 3 hour afternoon break, feel like lying down for just 60 minutes might make the difference between an additional ~20 grind hrs this month.

Not looking promising on the ole hours but maybe I'll find some motivation if I don't lose 1 of these f days. Actually made 1k on PS today in the 98 games I managed to get in, but lost more than that on FTP, standard haha. I need to play 10 hours every single monday, wed-sunday until I go home on the 27th to not pay out the freerolls, gonna be absurd if I even make this a sweat with the amount of fail I've put forth this month.

Funnily enough, I'm still on pace for 1.75 mil vpps even though I've barely played on PS this yr....clearly not going to get that many unless something drastically changes, I'll be lucky to hit 1.25mil imo as it's been really hard to load PS lately + only planning on 3-4 hrs/grind day on PS anyhow, just have so much for the 10bb game.

Haha yea for sure, all you can do is grind it out. Glad I've been dealing with this pretty well though, especially since this is happening right after I started getting some of my action on my own dime.

Haha that's funny, there's definitely been a few other people ITT who have said I look like him a bit, I remember reading Jonah Hill comments itt before .

I'm not really sure how to totally explain it, but I think I really 'GET IT' when it comes to the 10bb no ante structure. Making individual adjustments to your opponents on shorter stacks with no antes makes a bigger impact compared to the games on PS (mainly because of antes on PS), and the mistakes that others make end up being much larger (in terms of how much they are losing by making the mistake, especially if they make it over and over and it's a 'standard' play by them) and cost them more money, more quickly.

Hehe I'm starting to like mine a bit more, **** last yr I was playing an avg of 50 hrs a month until ~June rolled around and I went back to Merge, and then the late SNE run happened etc and now having 70 hours played by the end of the 13th is considered a fail in my book; guess I'm step by step getting to where I truly want to be .

Hey all, just woke up and gonna be trying to put up a big grind today, gotta start getting 10 hrs a day that I work to give this hrs freeroll a sweat!

I was thinking last night about how other grinders had been telling me I deal with swings better than most because I was staked for 100% of my action and that I don't understand how it feels to lose your own money, but since I've been DSing everywhere and have 100% of my action on $20-35 ftp ST's and 50% of my PS action, and haven't been freaking out, worrying, tilting, anything of that nature, I still feel like I can say I deal with DS's better than most regs .

Pretty standard that once I start getting on part of my own dime that I snap downswing , but what can you do....I was prepared for the downswings that could happen and that's why I waited until I was comfortable enough financially to cover part of my bi's, although with how sharp this DS has been, I'm still getting a sweat $ wise anyhow lol...makes it more fun that way amirite .

Yea anyway, gonna study it up and get at it in a bit, gla today!

Put in an hr grind and realized I only had 3 tables up after busting like 6 within 30 seconds, so decided to stop quick and shower and eat some bfast + put pork chops in the crock pot for dinner tonight. Will be getting back on the grind very shortly.

Today being Valentines Day reminds me of my Valentines Day last yr which was pretty epic; ended up at HK club with a group of like 15 of us and someone not to be named (because hes a HS/well known player) ended up having a 4some with 3 strippers to one up my 3some with 2 strippers the week before . Was so ****** awesome, fun fun night. #TheGoodOleDays

Honestly she doesn't really care, or at least not outwardly. Think she 'gave up' on caring what decisions I made when I turned like 18 and was still sneaking around playing poker against her wishes and just started supporting me with w/e I wanted to do.

I have no shame, my dad and foreign exchange student brothers were asking me questions about the strip clubs at the dinner table the one night when I was home for the holidays, and since they asked, I told all . Told them about the Valentines Day club trip, how cheap the girls are to **** at the club and how it works, everything.

I don't really care, it's like if you ask me, you clearly want me to tell amirite .

My mom's one comment to me when she saw some pics of me in a foam show on facebook was 'You better use a condom on those god damn whores!'

Welp, FTP volume just wasn't there again, pretty ****ty that I might have to rethink my plan if there continues to not be enough volume on the site. Will just play it by ear now, maybe Friday-Monday will have more volume than the rest of the days and those will be the days I play a sesh on FTP, idk.

Eating the pork chops I threw in the crock pot earlier today, (mmm) slow cooked meat. Gonna study and get on the PS grind here soon, gotta try to pound out a good amount of hrs!

Welp, looked more deeply into some #'s and talked to a guy who plays FTP and decided that I cannot continue to play on FTP. I obviously figured volume would be a good amount lower than it was during SNG Madness weekend, where I was able to keep 15-16 $20-35s up at a time, but had no idea that mixing 4 bi levels (20s/35s/60s/115s) was going to yield such poor volume. Obviously, when I ran my hourly expectation calculations, I was figuring on being able to keep ~14-15 tables at a time up at like a $50 abi and that would have yielded the hourly I was looking for, but doesn't seem like that is possible so I'm going to have to throw in the towel.

Kinda sucks, especially since I ran so poorly on FTP, but I'm guessing that they will do another SNG Madness weekend and I'll obviously play the full weekend again, so there will be chances to get that EV back! Like I said, I'm always doing what I think is best for my overall hourly/profit line, and have no problem trialing a game that I know I'm very good at to see if I can boost my profit line.

Yea so anyway, will be just grinding PS again for the time being, dem hypers (sun). Putting in a big study session now as I only got in ~40 games before I got interrupted by a couple important convo's on skype that I had been waiting for, and then am planning on grinding through the night into the morning and quitting ~8-11am pending on when I get super tired and then will just go to bed and get back on my normal schedule of waking up very early in the morning and getting on that grind!
