Hey jdawg first of gl with your challenge, I have one question however. After checking on hem forums I noticed that EV was off for 6 max hypers in HEM2, and I also remember you saying someone came over and fix your EV line in HEM1. Do you remember/know what kind of tweak needs to be done in order for HEM1 to show correct EV line for 6 max hypers? Ty in advance for your time and effort!

I love it down here, Rosarito is perfect for me personally as the weather is moderate, I'm relatively close to the US (30 mins south of San Diego and 3.5 hours from LA and 6 hrs from Vegas, 2 live hotspots in the US), there's a LOT of other grinders down here, and we've built a lot of connections with locals.

All in all, I've had an awesome 14 months in Mexico so far and am really looking forward to living down there in 2013 as well.

Heh no thx, I'll be pushing my table count like crazy because losing pre RB and getting 2300+ vpp/hr = higher hourly than half the table count and winning pre RB

I would however, book a friendly bet on who had the higher hourly

Haha we'll see, I mean pending how the games look, I might have to be ready to change my grind schedule...I don't plan on switching game formats though besides adding in other sngs if I switched to offpeak grinding (6m turbo, 9m ht, 9m turbo getting added with 60s-200 6m ht for example)

4million VPPs will require about 1740 hours if I get 2300 vpps/hr, which that should be about what I get (or at least I'm hoping). My plan is to go hard wednesday-sunday and get 100k vpps (20k/day) during those 5 days every week and then take monday and tuesday off or play like 1 sesh on those days if I'm in the mood to play. The aim is for 100k/week, not certain I will hit that though .

In terms of number of hours played on the year, I think ruse's grind will be tougher, but I will let him comment on that himself obviously as I don't really know.

Hmmmm 2mil+ im not really certain as I think there will be quite a few guys that end up with 1.5-2mil vpps this yr at $60+ 6m hts. I know of 3 people so far going for 4mil+ though and I'm sure there's some others out there, it'll be interesting to see who makes it

Hmmm I was under the impression that the EV calculation was correct for the 6max hypers in HM2, maybe I'm wrong though.

The error in the HM1 was very slight and it was not consistent WRT whether it helped or hurt you....it was the EV calculation in multiway all ins.

Pretty tired, withered etc and want to be back in Mexico....might even be absurd and play a session of 30s-60s on the 4th of January after I wake up from a looooong first night back in mexico . I definitely will be playing some warmup sessions of 30s-60s just to get back into the swing of things before Jan 9th when my buddy leaves, want to shake the rest and be comfortable 24-28 tabling once again before he leaves.

Been working on my bio page and pictures for my website and it's giving me a headache, thankfully it'll all be setup soon and I'll be able to just focus on the grind. All these #Commitments are killing me, missing my PA in Mexico that does everything for me

I think the Ruseman is back in Mexico soon to finish up 2011, hopefully he gets the final vpps he needs to get to 200k, gogogo broski!

Serious question tho - do you have any strat for choosing threadsavers? Is there a threadsaver bank? Do you time yourself and then go 'ok, after 5 mins i'll choose the hottest pic i've seen so far'? Having recently started a thread I am warring what i'm sure is a largely prevalent breast vs poker conundrum that many poker players must face. Breasts usually win obv, and if money wasn't in this situation then I would be ok with that. But breast pics don't put money in the bank, do they? Any advice you can give would be much appreciated.
