Ran pretty bad this week. Not as bad as last week or a few weeks ago when i made this thread so i guess that's something. Also only got preflop coolered single digit times which is good.

i understand ur not betting ak on flop so betting turn isn't ideal but does it matter if villain doesn't know that? i find it hard to navigate spots like this in real time. i.e. what my range actually is vs. what villain perceives my range to be

Going to switch to updating monthly since I think it'll be easier to objectively see progress that way. Also here's my graph since I decided to go all out with poker a couple months back. Mostly 200z with some 500z mixed in and some 50z at the start.

Even though I'm basically 1-2 bad sessions away from having to drop down to 50z (or deposit some funds if necessary but I would rather not) I feel pretty motivated and excited about what the future holds. I have full confidence in my ability to succeed. Money isn't a concern to me. My goal has always been competition and I wan't to reach the top. In a couple years I want to be battling PIO bots at 10knl on stars by day and crushing Chinese whales in Macau by night.

Anyways, here are my goals for September (llapex style):

> [] 50k hands zone
> [] gym/diet/sleep solidified
> [] 3 days/wk grind
> [] 3 days/wk study + light grind + chill
> [] 1 day/wk no poker
> [] play 1 live session
> [] hit challenger on LoL
> [] be nicer/don't let results affect how I treat people around me
> [] catch up with friends I have been avoiding or haven't seen in a while

calling the month a week early since fifa is out

september:

Didn't hit volume goals but did study heaps. Ran a few buy ins above ev this month which is insane considering how ******ed last month was. However, lost basically all the big 1k+ pots which is annoying. Also had some consistency issues in my level of play. However, I did learn a few valuable lessons. Namely:

- I need to work much much harder than what I am doing now.
- I am not as good as I think I am
- Winners tilt/superstition/excuses have very negative effects
- No good player goes on consistent 10+ buy in downswings as regularly as I do on this website, not to mention the 30+ buy in downswings I've had.
- I am relatively new to the online game. I don't need to rush things, but I definitely need to pick it up and stop wasting time.

As for my sept goals:

> [] 50k hands zone
Not sure how close I would've got if I grinded hard the last week which was the plan but still fell very short
> [x] gym/diet/sleep solidified
Very very happy with this
> [x] 3 days/wk grind
> [x] 3 days/wk study + light grind + chill
didn't really follow these 2 as tightly as could be but i definitely played 6 days a week and definitely studied at least 3 days a week
> [] 1 day/wk no poker
some weeks yes, some weeks no
> [] play 1 live session
> [] hit challenger on LoL
lol not even close. i realised it would actually take me like 50+ games just to get back to challenger level, let alone climb the actual ranks
> [x] be nicer/don't let results affect how I treat people around me
> [] catch up with friends I have been avoiding or haven't seen in a while

Nice results this month, happy to see things turned around for you. I think having a productive & positive mindset will go along way in real life and on the tables so hopefully you will notice a nice difference in your game while continuing to better yourself and your poker skills. Best of luck for next month.

idno pool has been the worst it has ever been imo. there seems to be an infiltration of bots and/or stables staking **** slightly +ev regs who are killing the games
