made some really big mistakes at 2/5 today after being rusty for 2 days for like 1.5k. everytime i take a meaningful break i always play bad in beginning. werent terrible plays just plays i wouldnt make regularly. anyways good to be back in the mix

Got absolutely crushed live (again). It’s kind of sick I literally lost every hand I played. Started at 5/5 . It turned into 5/5/10/20/40 (lmao). But the game wasn’t even big because the straddles are considered raises and everyone post was a nit so it’s end up just getting limped around. Lost like 5k there and then played some 10/10/20 and got absolutely sunrun, I was buying in for 1k and it was relatively easy to just play low variance and get it in good. I’d run up a 2-3k stack then lose the 6k pot every time. Lost another 5k in this game. Really brutal beats. The action is absolutely insane though. Had a couple of all nighters and this weekend has been exhausting but yeah live players are just so bad and face up, which is similar to online but seeing them in person just makes it even easier. I’m gonna give tonight one last shot but yeah will be back soon for sure . Their Tuesday games are apparently really big so might have to sell action for that. A lot of recs and the games become massive . Gonna continue to grind online to bankroll myself for these games but this is def where the real money is at. I don’t mind grinding online it’s easy but I see a lot more future with live

Ended the trip today. Lost 18k which is really brutal left the casino really depressed. Gonna go home and grind online until next Tuesday where ill be going back. I definetly made a lot of mistakes but overall ran really bad. I think i got a little impatient in some spots but compared to how the field was playing I dont think I deserved to lose this amount of money. Was really let down with the results but I'm gonna try to not let it affect me because I was playing pretty big games. These live 5/5 and 10/10 games play massive. I just really wasnt able to get any momentum going. Lost a couple of flips, two aces vs aces hands, and just wasnt really hitting any flops for the past 3 days. Id call a 3b or open raise and just end up x folding. I punted one hand where i limp 3b utg vs fish whos opening too wide with kk9t single in 5/5/10 game. I end up 3 barrelling on a77xx board and he shows 778k single for quads so that was my one punt, i thought it was a spot hed just overfold but yeah tough to fold him off the nuts. Online wise im still having a great month so im just gonna stick to that and see where it takes me

Bought the PLO mastermind for the live course. Definetly going to get in the lab this week also want to touch up on some theory since i haven’t had a subscription in almost 6 months gonna be drilling a bunch of spots just to make sure my bases are covered but not really worried on that end

yea true, river seems like the most acceptable play out of all the streets.

but overall pretty marginal still not blocking my calling range. the ten is pretty irrelevant other than blocking JT but thats assuming im gonna fold a low str8. having a 6 is probs better so like akk6 but yeah id prob b 3/4 flop and just range check turn here. this is also deep play which is more freestyle for me dont know the actual solution but thats what i would do.
flop is good id probs bet 3/4 i dont think small b on this board is good esp deep really want to charge draws and bet a bit more polar with weak hands that want folds and hands that want to deny equity like aces no draw etc. i probs wouldnt range bet here this deep
