Hi, this is my first post on this forum so I´ll start by introducing myself. I´m 23 years old from Spain, I´ve been playing poker as a hobbie for a couple years and tried taking it more seriously a few times without much success hahaha. I´ve beaten nl2 and nl5 in the past but could never beat nl10 due to tilt, lack of motivation to study and basically playing bad.

I have now finished my uni exams and will have plenty of time to dedicate to poker so I thought it would be a great idea to take a more serious approach to the game, I am opening this thread with the aim of becoming a better poker player, and to keep track of my goals and be more motivated to achieve them.

I´ll start by playing nl2 zoom with the aim of playing 5k hands a day (volume has never been an issue for me ) I deposited 50€ and will move up whenever I reach 150€. I plan on updating my progress by posting here a couple times a week, I´ll post graphs, interesting hands and all that.

I am looking forward to starting this journey, as I said before the goal is to become better so any comment with the intention of helping will be greatly appreciated.

First day done. I achieved the goal of playing 5k hands and started the challenge off on the right foot let´s keep it up

I´ll leave a couple hands I played where I´m not sure I made the right decisions, any help would be appreciated

H1 I think the action preflop is standard even though I could have 4bet the QQ, I don´t have many hands on villain but he seems to be really agro (68%WWSF) so I decided to play this hand more passivly. On the flop the call is standard and so is the turn check back in my opinion. The fun starts on the river, when he checks again I thought I could value bet my QQ, he could definitely have some Kx checking the turn but after I check back I think almost any Kx would have value betted on the river. I also can´t see any flush or 9x checking twice so I bet half pot as I put him on JJ,TT,88 or any give ups. After he raised my bet 4x I couldn´t see any of his value having played this way and since he seemed agro on a small sample I decided to call putting him on air

H2 On this hand I OR and on that flop I´m betting 100% of my range, on the turn I decided to bet 3/4 even though QJ gets there since I think many worse made hands are still calling and there are still plenty of open draws so I think my range is still a bit ahead. On the river I now beat every two pair and I block the nut flush so I thought I could value bet my two pair expecting every two pair to call but maybe a nitty check back would have been better as all draws get there on the river even though I block the nuts. I also think calling the raise is not an option with top two and the Kd blocker on that runout as I can´t find any bluffs and don´t see any worse value raising.
