Just got back. Played another session and was able to squeeze out another $208 on top for a total of $900 profit. I've always been intimidated by 500nl, but for the most part it's a bunch of mediocre/bad regs with some occasional drunk fish (at least this time). No where near as soft as Ceasars 300nl, but I can work with it. Will go on weekends when I got free time to see when my run good ends.
Here's a hand that's going to haunt me for awhile + show you how much of a donk I am:
We're roughly 7 handed and MP has been super drunk/spewy and going all in/calling all ins with complete air. His stack is a little over $600 (120bb). MP+1 has about $3k (600bb deep) and seems like he's fairly solid, but haven't played a hand with him yet. I've been playing TAG with roughly $700 (140bb) with AA in the SB.
UTG raises to 20, MP 3bets to 60, MP+1 flats. Folded to me and I make it 160. In retrospect, I should've made this $200 or so, but I was begging for a call from MP and wanted it to be easy for him to throw in a single $100.
UTG folds, MP calls, MP+1 calls??? I really hated that MP+1 just called and felt like he could be slow playing a high pair or just wanting to see a flop with his 99 or lower pairs to try and hit vs MP as well. I really didn't want to see any paint otherwise it could put me in an awkward position.
Pot is $500. Flop comes KT7r.
With about $540 behind, I make it $100. I wanted to bet small here so I could give MP a chance to at least call or shove on me without it checking through + show some weakness. MP shoves for $440 ($340 on top) and then MP+1 goes deep into the tank. Something felt off to me and it's one of those situations I've been in before where someone seems to be milking the thought process with a strong hand too long which sent my alarm bells off. After some time, he shoves all in as well.
In all honesty, I didn't even consider the odds, just the strength of his action. Flat the 4b pre 3 ways, then in the face of my raise OTF and a shove from MP, he shoves on me which just seems insanely strong. I didn't think it was likely he had kings, but tens and sevens were definite possibilities. I also think that this board is going to favor me so much that there should be no way he thinks I'm going to fold my AK, AA, KK which are the majority of my range given the pre action. I painfully muck the aces face up and...
MP shows complete garbage (something like j4 or w/e) and MP+1 shows...
In retrospect, I had done a similar thing of 3betting pre and betting small otf in a previous hand where I was weak so that could've been a factor. I also think he (like everyone) knew that MP just had garbage. Not sure if my muck was "good", but definitely missed a big opportunity.
Edit: Forgot I just said the results of the hand in my previous post... Oh well.
Here's what the roll is at along with some chip pics + stats:
Live Roll: $4,261 (fixed)
Online Roll: $204
