So i just want to say that your commitment to being open and honest about your situation is phenomenal, and is the reason why so many people flock to these blogs and are rooting for you.
With that being said, I'd imagine that someone who listens, analyzes, and cross-references advice would sit down and say "Hmmm...everyone told me it was a bad idea to eat fast food every meal and they were right. Everyone told me it was a bad idea to buy PIO and they were right. Everyone told me it was a bad idea to rent a car to drive for Uber and they were right" and so on and come to the conclusion that your natural inclinations on things is absolute dog **** and should be ignored. I'm probably dating myself but there's a famous Seinfeld episode where George does the exact opposite of everything he thinks is correct and ends up with everything he wants. You're George.
Take this app play for instance. The rake on apps is insanely high, and the rakeback is correspondingly insanely high because the owners and affiliates are just making bank, even on 40-50% of your rake. I'd say conservatively you're generating $100-150 in rakeback per day. Not in rake...in rakeback. So in a week or two you're generating what you were loaned? staked? and your "friend" is then freerolling your action. It's a horrible deal for you. It's a horrible, no good, very bad deal for you. Much like a loan at 50% yearly interest, you've gotten yourself into a situation where you've lost and other people have won. Get out of it. Play on your own money and keep your own rakeback, or find someone to stake you and split the rakeback for a short period of time while you build your roll. You're clearly able to withdraw the funds, so I don't see why you aren't going off on your own, and even if you aren't, you said you've got a fallback so use that to bankroll yourself. Or have your wife, who has a great job and seemingly no bills, and trusts you and your poker skills, to fund your bankroll. You're married so it's all going to the same place anyway.
