Short poker session
Barely put any volume in today. Less than 1hr. My wife had a day off work and I went to a Thai grocery store with her, watched a movie with her, and time just sort of slipped by after that. I could stay up late to put in more volume, but I'd rather keep a good sleeping pattern and just put in the extra hours tomorrow.
I made a small profit of around $100, bringing the bankroll up to $2900 now, mainly thanks to this hand:
Hand 9: Hero call
$100 effective, 9-handed
Fish limps $1 UTG
Hero raises $4 UTG+1 with KTdd
Fish limp-reraises to $16
Hero calls $16
Flop ($33.50) 8d 6s 3c
Both check
Turn ($33.50) 8d 6s 3c Th
Fish bets $22.33
Hero calls $22.33
River ($78.16) 8d 6s 3c Th 2s
Fish checks
Hero jams $61.67
Fish calls $61.67
Before you open the spoiler, try to guess his hand...
Planning to gym and poker more tomorrow. And don't worry: I intend to go to the gym during the most off-peak time (around lunch time) to minimise contact with other people, since I want to keep my fans happy but I don't want to give up the gym entirely. I think that this is a good compromise.
