Well most of the time I click on the table and click fold, but say if I'm playing 3 hands at once (AA, AQo and KQs) and then on the 4th table, I get dealt some garbage (52o), I'm more likely to leave that table alone than risk timing out with one of my strong hands.

Losing the minimum with AA

100nl, $84 effective. My read on villain is that he's kind of tight-passive.
Hero (CO) raises $3 with As Ac
Villain (BB) 3bets $12
Hero calls $12

Flop ($24.50) is Qs Js 8d

Villain bets $16.33
Hero calls $16.33

Turn ($57.16) is Qs Js 8d Kd

Villain jams $55.59

Spoiler:
Hero folds

I'll never know for sure if I had the best hand here or not, but I'm pretty happy with my fold.

Your read is that he is tight and passive, so you don´t 4bet into a strong range and you let him dictate the action when he is passive.

Because 4betting looks way too nutted. I think he'll fold all his TT/JJ/AQ/KQs/AJs if I 4bet, and he might even fold QQ/AK at some frequency too.

There are very few bad runouts for AA, so I thought I'll just flat and then stack a hand like JJ postflop.

Lots of bad flops for JJ or QQ, you most probably have a whale image and wasted the opportunity to stack off. Why are you playing 100nl with a 9 bi bank roll? lul

Wouldn't expect anything less. Always got to feel like you pwned someone in a hand. Hard to do that if you 4b and get in vs QQ/KK/AK...

The adjustment to someone who's going to 3-bet/fold here a lot with upper mid-strength hands isn't flatting AA

Yes it is.

There are 2 adjustments you make when people overfold to 4bets:
1) You flat AA to a 3bet, instead of 4betting.
2) You 4bet a wide range of bluffs, especially with an Ace blocker.

How many hands did you have on him to determine his 3bet % and being 'kind of tight passive'?

Can I get in on the bet between you and your friend on who gets a job first? Guy on acid confirmed has a better shot. You're grinding small stakes on your phone instead of actually looking for a job and coming up with BS excuses. Reality check that you're a wannabe poker pro multi-tabling on a phone.

Get a job, support yourself and your family and quit being a leach on your mom and wife. It's one thing if you're a single guy who is doing this to himself, but you're straight leaching off your mom at 25 and are married. Pick yourself up and make whatever money you can at this point. What's your hourly at poker currently? Negative $5 an hour or something? Wake up

4bet pre. If you flat pre (which you shouldn't do), jam the flop - tight passives aren't folding their value hands but also won't bluff off with air.

Interesting how you play scared money with your big hands, but you blast off your stack with air regularly.

Small price to pay in order to have 6b at your table...

And where did you get the informatiom that tight passives, or V, has a high fold vs 4b %? Out of thin air? Or your HUD/pokertracker? Lulz.

4betting here is 101poker and anyone who doesnt here is a regfish (and many bad regs will give the same justifications for flatting as you). And given your maniac image/splashy image flatting here is even more lol 84bb deep

This is why poker will always live on. We got poker phone pros adamantly justifying that flatting IP vs a tight passive nutted pre range with AA 84bb deep, with a splashy image (assuming V has played a number of orbits with H), is definitely higher EV than 4betting

You get to fold on this particular board, but flatting the 3bet preflop is just fancy play syndrome.

Binked our first tournament of 2020!

We finally did it!!! Came 1st place in a $5 MTT for $935.

There were 288 runners total and from about the final 40 onwards, I was constantly chip leader, even having up to 3x the stack size of the 2nd biggest stack. I showed the most aggression by far, and was the only one playing even remotely close to Nash shoving ranges. And I ran mega hot: K8 > QQ, JT > AJ, just to name a couple.

I was planning to sleep at 4am to fix my sleeping pattern. I didn't expect to run this deep. It's 6am now and man, it was totally worth staying up for this.

Bankroll is up to $2070 now. I'm so f**king happy. I needed this.
