Woke up at 6am today. Today is my recovery day from the gym, which means I can focus on finally getting some poker volume in!
GL me.

Yeah still in lockdown. Australia is doing fairly well overall, but my state sucks and has the worst restrictions, such as:
- All casinos and nightclubs are closed
- Restaurants and gyms can have max 20 people at a time (you usually need to book in advance)
- All uni campuses are closed, but courses run online
- Certain suburbs are "no go zones". You can't leave your house without a valid reason. Thankfully, I live just outside the no go zone, so I'm allowed to gym.

I agree. I don't see what all the hate is about. RTP seems like a good guy imo. Just very young and optimistic.

Yeah she's in her 50s.
But my younger brother (the one who lives here) is a full-time uni student, studying a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He's far more of a normie than I am.

You don't need to spend more time with your wife. If your objective is keeping her around in your life then you should be working harder to improve your current position and building a life for you both instead of sponging off your mum.
Yeah had that day when I didn't feel like getting out of bed and my eyes wouldn't open properly. But that's a pretty uncommon occurrence.
Hmm this is probably true actually. If I spend a bit less time with her now, so that I can focus on improving myself and my finances, that's probably +EV for our both of us long-term.
LOL this made me laugh. Thank you.
Well my wife comes from a different culture to me... She says it's normal for her to be close to family and live with them as adults.
I was kind of the opposite: I moved out of home when I was 19, being in a rush to feel some "independence", and never thought I'd see myself going back. But it's not so bad.
I'll move back out eventually. I'm just trying not to be too impatient about it.

Really?! I never knew about this. An extra $2k would come in handy ngl.
Does Uber count? Technically I was classified as a sole-trader (like my own small business owner), not an employee. But I did that for the last 6 months of 2019 and made far less than the $18k personal income tax threshold. You reckon I'd be eligible?
