REG SPEED HUSNG - FROM $5 TO $1000 BUYIN

Hi everyone on the 2+2 forum. My goal is to work my way Up the HUSNG Regular Speed games from $5 to $1000. I will be following the below bankroll management table I’ve created very strictly. I will start this challenge from sometime in the first week of June 2012(possibly earlier depending on how fast I can study/learn the game). That means I will have about 3 months to study the game without playing at the tables. I’ll be watching videos from HUSNG.com/reading books. I also think it’s important to live a healthy lifestyle outside of poker and be happy outside of poker to improve my game. I’ve been a losing player most of my poker playing time and am determine to change this by becoming a thinking player and actually learning to game and continuously improving, The point of this post so early on in the challenge is to have the community give me tips on ways to improve my game so that I can take it into account. I will not redeposit under any circumstances. If I fail the challenge early on so be it but I’m 100 percent determined to put in the hard work to study the game and become the best player I can possibly be.

Once the challenge starts I will post graphs of my progress weekly. I will not be playing many games early on in the challenge as I work full time and it’s very difficult but once I’m at the $30 and above stakes I’ll put a lot more hours into grinding.

Starting Bankroll: $300
Starting stake/game:$5 Reg Speed HUSNG

Moving up/down – Bankroll strategy

>$150 Move down to $2 (75 buy ins) Down
<$550 move to $10 (55 buy ins) Up
>$400 move back to $5 (80 buy ins) Down
<$1100 move to $20 (55 buy ins) Up
>$800 move to $10 (80 buy ins) Down
<$2,250 move to $30 (75 buy ins) Up
>$1,600 move back to $20 (80 buy ins) Down
<$5,000 move to $50 (100 buy ins) Up
>$3,000 move to $30 (100 buy ins) Down
<$10,000 move to $100 (100 buy ins) Up
<20,000 move to $200 ( 100 buy ins) Down
>$15,000 move to $100 (150 buy ins) Up
<$50,000 move to $500 (100 buy ins) Down
>$30,000 move to $200 (150 buy ins) Up
<$80,000 move to $1,000 (80 buy ins) Down
<$60,000 move to $500 (120 buyins) Up

A little about me: I’m 22 years old from Australia. I’ve played poker recreationally for the last 3 years and have been a losing player. Only just started to think about poker seriously and hopefully will crush the games soon enough.

I think your brm is way too conservative for reg speed games. Variance is pretty low (compared to other formats), so I really can't see any need to have 55 bi's to play the $10 games. I mean, some people think 30 is too conservative.

regspeeds

15 - $5
20 - $10
25 - $20

I would suggest something similar to this, if You have job and can afford to reload.
Or move up when You feel confident.

P.S. Play 1 table !

I've made it conservative on purpose. I want this to be my Liferoll and to reduce the possibility of reloading as much as possible. I agree it is a bit nitty but that's just the way I am. Especially being a losing player it can only benefit me
