I have no poker goals . I am just going to play and learn , and see how far can i get. I guess i don't want to be too ambitious because eventually i might end up being disappointed , and i can't handle that very well unfortunately.
Sometimes i wonder if i am smart enough to get really good and beat one day even the high stakes cash games.
At what stakes do you think one needs to be smarter than "regular" people in order to dominate? If it isn't about intellect , then what's the difference between the world's best poker players and the rest?

From what I can tell the answer is volume. Like anything else, the more you do something with other people the more you see how they do things, thus being able to take advantages of their weaknesses. Intellect plays a big role, yes, but in the long run I believe it is sheer volume and experience that makes one great.
Also, you have to maintain your thirst for knowledge. Without that you become complacent and plateau. Always continue to learn.
