Hello guys. I am from Bulgaria and currently live in The Netherlands. I am 19 years old and I am a student. Due to the lack of a regular income, my poker bankroll is limited and often shared with my overall 'liferoll' (kind of degenerate, I know). I started playing more than 3 years ago and have dedicated some little time to studying. However, do not get confused, the time which I've spent studying is nowhere near enough for someone who would want to take the game seriously and grind however.

Most of my experience in poker comes from playing live. I've played lots of 1/2 and 2/5 live tables in home games, private games, and different casinos. As far as my experience goes, even the micros in online poker have a very different nature to the game and fundamental solidity as well as strategical awareness is extremely significant in order to come out as a winner.

Due to my life situation, specifically being a student who has no income to set aside for poker online, do not expect a high-end strategy play ITT. I am not a poker pro, I am a rec fish who is trying to improve his game, and also hope to provide entertainment and gain useful insights from people who are more fluent in this field than I am. I am going to attach a graph from PokerTracker 4 for the last two months. I played very irregularly, and that is why i am creating a thread in PGC. I want to put volume and really grind with a HUD and some semi-lenient bankroll management.

The stakes that I am playing are 5NL zoom with a $50 starting bankroll. I'd consider dropping down in stakes to 2NL as soon as the BR drops down to $30. I play a TAG style, with mostly linear straight-forward ranges, with the ocassional spazzy fancy play that I just cannot stop myself from doing, despite the reflection on my play and the discipline that I am focused to maintain during the sessions. 9 March was the first day and the update on my BR after Day 1: $62.92 for +12.92 in 2.5 hours of play.

I have very little experience with HUDs. I downloaded one today for the first time after more than a year of playing in PokerStars. Any comments and suggestions (despite the very shallow database of just 1K hands and a graph from the trial version of PT4) would be hugely appreciated. Over the 1K hand history sample from today, my stats were /VP 19 /PR 12/3B 8/CB- 53/. This is my results section from PT4:

I am also going to be posting hands in this thread when I think that there is something of note. However, I cannot seem to work with the Hand History Converter option in the forum when creating this thread, as an Internal Server Error occurs, so I'd appreciate it if someone would give me a tip on how to share my interesting hands with you.

Going to be updating on a daily basis so stay tuned & enjoy! Looking forward to hearing from you all! LFG

I think this hand is pretty standard and the only real decision comes on the river. When BB checks and MP bets, I think that the raise-sizing question is really interesting. Looking back on the hand, this raise is very polarizing to monsters/bluffs, and in my opinion there are very few natural bluffs that I take this line with. I think that this means that my sizing needs to be more polarizing and I should only jam all-in if I am going to raise the river. AP I did not put the full stack myself, however it worked out due to the fact that MP overvalued his hand strength (in my opinion, I do not think that 3! jamming here with the third nuts OTR makes sense when the hand plays out this way).

I managed to get AA<KK all-in preflop, and I am not going to put the HH here, but sure as hell I will brag about the beat with you. I know that nobody cares.

On to the next one

River : (230.8 BB, 2 players) 8

Hero shows 5 5 (Full House, Fives full of Eights)
(Pre 19%, Flop 91%, Turn 95%)

Hero wins 221.2 BB

I completely butcher this hand pre and bink the flop to win a >200 BB pot. BTN was tagged as getting out of line, and that is how I justify my play here. From now on, I think that I want to stick to folding 55 after UTG opens for 3x.

And one last hand that showcases the fancy-play syndrome perfectly. I am not too upset with it even though I managed to ran into the nuts. I think that there are very few bluffs in my range OTR when I take this line during the hand.
