"Debating creationists mirage on the topic of evolution poker is rather like trying to play chess with a pigeon; it knocks the pieces over, craps on the board, and flies back to its flock to claim victory."

I can't accept this bet obviously.

You won't have any more money left to give me after Mirage destroys you.

huh.... is this reply supposed to be clever or something? you are just making things up on the fly to justify you pussying out on a bet you offered

Aren't you the guy who thought 8k was way above most people's yearly income?

Aren't you the guy who is unable to read graphs?

I said that $20-25/hr was way more than people make in my country (average here is around $8/hr).

It was 15k not 8k btw. I don't know why you don't consider rakeback as a part of income.

Internet was very bad in the last days, couldn't put much volume, tomorrow will help a friend with his job so probably won't play, so I'm posting the results of the month. Very happy with them, roll is at around $4.3k

Graph of the month

50z this year so far

Volume was pretty low, but went out a lot at the beginning of the month and bad internet at the end of the month killed my volume, I could have played more for sure, but it's so hard to be very disciplined, specially when I already do a lot of things during the day.

Internet is still somewhat dead, so I'll sim those 2 boards played by otb, found them interesting

Nice results Rapi. Congrats!

H1 was played really bad though, that OTB guy is terrible. Bluffing with a FD on 666x board... Deservedly stacked.

and that other fish probably though that TTT222 is worth something.

Because the whole discussion was about downswings... you can't include rakeback when talking about your biggest downswing.

To be completely serious, I'm not sure about that... I'd expect it to be optimal to play FDs as a check in these spots (at least in 6max). By barelling you throw away so much of your equity. Better to bluff with 0% hands or overcards imo.
02-27-2019 , 10:11 PM
dude its HU, its a LOT different with very wide ranges, his bet is fine

I thought that it was a std bluff OTR by him and pio was bluffing like 60% with the spades, almost 100% with other suits. That's with 6-max ranges ofc, maybe HU he should play more passively on this texture given the overpair advantage gets lower the wider the ranges get because the frequency of overpairs in the pre-flop aggressors will get diluted in his wider range.

Funny fact is that IP jams 77 for value OTR and all Kxss, also OOP`s checking and betting strat OTT looks very cool!
02-27-2019 , 10:20 PM
I've never really studied HU, so you guys are probably right. Opponent should be calling with A high hands often ott, so we still retain some equity.
