Made a comeback, finally had some decent volume, ran good too. But I could have played more, I really can do it, going to focus more on volume this month (sadly had played very few hands so far), I need to get more used to a work-heavy routine, study more too. My coach said that I could take a 5 BI shot at NL50, took it this month and it went badly, but it's ok, it happens. 80% reg tables with careful table selection, 20% zoom playing to finish the challenge. Made $1400 this month total with the RB (insane RB on stars btw, got lucky with the leaderboard).

I'm done with diablo 2, very good game, but then some friends told me about Morrowind (elder scrolls 3), insane game, really enjoying it, very complex game!

Amazing, when I entered Metagame I had already very high expectations, they surpassed them by a lot. They're very technical and their strats/coaching is very very strong, it's even more interesting for someone like me, who has a lot of experience, because I make the most out of the coaching, understand the nuances in a lot of spots/advice the coaches give (and decide not to give to microstakes players), even though I'm at nl25, my coach plays nl500, so good to learn a lot.

But the most important thing is how professional they are. I'm studying with people putting 90k+ hands of reg tables per month! Some guys have full time jobs and still put good volume. The motivation I got by seeing that is insane, also there's a support team that is amazing, the coaches know the best sites to grind and have a ton of data to back it up.

I believe it was the most important event in my poker career, that's how confident I am on how good they are.

Playing very well this month, sadly I'm behind volume, but going to focus more from now until the end of the year, then I will have a 15 day vacation, will travel and relax, going to read some books and just chill. It's amazing how I'm playing, I'm getting AK vs AA, KK vs AA all day, but still I'm winning a lot, haha, running good in non-pre-flop spots, but making so many BI out of nowhere. I know people at this level don't adapt much, but when they try to do it, they end up butchering so much, so I believe my EV on stars is probably very close to my EV on bodog because of those random spews I'm seeing. Btw, saw this month 3 nit regs 5-bet-bluffing vs me, insane.

Loose pre, I was just trying to find a decent flop to ship it in, then he comes with this sizing giving me all the odds in the universe haha. Guy does that and manages to pay off when I hit, I have 0 clue on what goes into these regs' minds haha vamooooo

Villain played this hand fine, not really sure what you're talking about here. Flop sizing is potentially a bit small, but anywhere 10-25% is probably reasonable enough

If you know what's going on with this spot, then you should know you can donk jam a lot of rivers because you have much more straights and boats than villain - but you would also be jamming river with many bluffs as well. Super standard call with a bluffcatcher if you think your opponent might actually understand the spot

tbqh, if anything I would say that you arguably played it worse because of both preflop decisions. The odds are great, but if villain isn't 4betting enough (like many micro players), then it's going to torch any EV you would've otherwise had closer to equilibrium. Even at equilibrium the call might be -EV. Luckily you managed to find what I would imagine is one of the handful of regs in the pool who actually seems to have a clue, so it's prob not a more significant preflop error like it might be vs your avg micro nitreg. But overall the hand is likely pretty insignificant in terms of winrate either way

Glad you're doing well with metagame though, seems like they have a great program. Best of luck in 2024 OP

This was the worst year of my career in $ made since I started playing as a pro, but I feel fine, I've never played so well and improved sooooo much, my volume got better in the end of the year too, but still need more improvements in that area. Getting banned on bodog sucks, but all it means is that I will have to work harder to get to HS. I'm going to make it, I believe that my game is very sharp and I play explo so well, starting to learn how to adapt vs some regs and fish. My notes are so good, they finally work (and aren't like some crazy wall of text)!

I also pay very close attention to showdowns, specially from fish, that's an habit I've started to do: to watch other hands that people are playing, lots of free info out there, really good. I think showdowns for me show more about how a player plays than stats, they're so unreliable, it's way better to see how a player thinks in some spots, you can extrapolate to other spots some info that might be relevant.

But I still believe that theory is king in this game and the only true way to improve as a poker player is to get better in theory, because the more you know, more your exploits get better, you learn some new lines with hands you never thought before, I've studied very little theory this year, but I plan to get better with gto wizard, it's so fast! Pio is great and I enjoy it soooo much, it's still better (for me at least) than gtowizard to study explo in very deep spots, but to just study theory I believe gtowizard is insane, definitely will get into it next year.

Forgot to set some goals for next year:

- Going to play only reg tables unless it's saturday (challenge)
- Exercise every day
- 35k+ reg tables/month

Gl people, happy new year! Going to take 15 days of vacation and will get back to the tables refreshed, going to spend some days in Brasilia and then going to Ilha Grande, close to Rio. I hope I come back from this trip with more motivation and ready to work hard!

Hey Rapidesh, just took a couple of minutes to read some pages of your thread. You´re playing with a group I respect, you seem to put at least some effort, and you look like a nice person. You know what. Give me 50/50, hell, give me 10/90 for you getting to 2knl in this lifetime, and I'll still bet against you ever succeeding, ever reaching the highstakes. You know why? You´re sheep, you behave like sheep, you´re a beta, and people like you don´t have what is needed to accomplish big things in life. I mean, I can reach 80% of this conclusion just by reading what others post and how you respond You'll fail my brazilian friend. Sorry for the tough love.

im really bad with names.. also im pretty sure not

and a fake graph is a fake graph, so if you're offering coaching , you're scamming people from the point you post a 1.5m hhs graph winning on all lines at that rate, either you can see the other players hole cards , or you only play btns

Yeah, I´m Finland for sure. Why can´t I be Mirage? Or Mrzbourg (did I spell it correctly?). Or tobe4funas? Like if Finland was the only Rapidesh hater on earth.

Thanks for the support, people, it's funny how some are 100% sure I won't make it and when I see things from my perspective it's so obvious that I will reach nl200 this year. With the help from the team I will get very good and might have a good chance to get to HS. My technical game is definitely very strong, what makes me stagnate is my attitude outside of the tables, but I'm working on that, going to relax for 10 days and I hope I will make a new routine that's very productive.

not to sound negative but isn't 10 days overkill for someone in your position? it makes me think that you don't really want this enough, or are you ill or something?
