This is what I am calling my last shot at poker. I am giving myself until the end of Summer to build a bankroll and become a regular at 100nl and up. If I fail at this, I will take a shot at the highest stakes I have 8-10 buyins for, and play until I am busto or robusto. Once busto, I will not play online again...
Now some background on me (Smart Readers Will Skip to Cliffs):
I have throughout my time playing poker, worked my way up towards 100nl, only to see myself tilt & spew my chances away. With certain changes coming in my life, which I may or may not get into as this goes along, I have decided to give it one more go.
Last year, I started playing again for the first time since Black Friday. These were my results:
All and all, things went really well aside from a pretty bad downswing at the end of the year. During that stretch I found myself increasingly frustrated and eventually, and somewhat stupidly, I cashed out my whole roll and quit.
This year, after a few months off I returned somewhat casually, and found myself playing pretty well again. Although I started rolled for 10nl, after a short time I found myself with enough of a roll to start taking shots at 50nl again.
Well that didn't go too well, and before long I found that I had tilted and spewed off all my winnings for the year (red arrow LDO).
I have since been grinding it back, and have had some failed shots at 100nl.

- Raichu does really well for a whole year
- Raichu goes through a downsing & reacts poorly
- Raichu tries to play again and does well
- Raichu goes through a downswing and reacts poorly
- Raichu is giving it one last shot, and if it fails he's putting the whole roll on the table

Pretty solid day today.
There was really only one hand where we got it in bad, and I think I played it fine.
Vs two big fish:
I am struggling a bit with AK when whiffing the flop (particularly in 3bet pots):
Any thoughts on when to cbet vs c/c and c/f?

Bleh session today. No big pots, just a lot of trouble spots.
I continue to show that I need work in 3bet pots. I am struggling to figure out how to construct a flatting range when being 3bet from the blinds, and I think I need to work on figuring out when to cbet vs c/f c/c.
Slowly working my way to being able to include 50nl again.
