BTW I'm trying to work out how often a $20 shove into an $8 pot needs to work to be profitable if you have 0% equity when called, does anyone know the maths on this one.

My maths comes up with villain needing to fold 71% of the time, anyone agree/disagree?

Hey guys, WTF is up all. I hope everyone is having the best time in the world.

Sometimes you eat the Bar, sometimes the Bar eats you

Here is a hand I played last nigth against some guy that kept 3betting a load and I tried to play Johnny "Bigger" Balls against him but it didn't work

His stats where - VPIP: 27, PFR: 18, 3B: 15, AF: 2.2

Poker Stars, $0.05/$0.10 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players
LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter

BTN: $30.52
SB: $14.28
BB: $15.49
UTG: $17.46
Hero (CO): $21.33

Pre-Flop: J T dealt to Hero (CO)
UTG folds, Observer folds, Hero raises to $0.32, BTN folds, SB raises to $1.07, Hero calls $0.80

Flop: ($2.40) A 9 8 (2 Players)
SB bets $1.80, Hero calls $1.80

Turn: ($6) K (2 Players)
SB bets $2.80, Hero raises to $18.41 and is All-In, SB calls $8.56 and is All-In

River: ($28.72) 8 (2 Players - 1 is All-In)

Results: $28.72 Pot
SB showed K 7 and WON $27.45 (+$13.22 NET)
Hero mucked J T and WON $7.05 (-$7.23 NET)

I called because he was 3betting a load vs Late Position openers and I thought I could get him to fold a lot of flops/turns (maybe a bad idea, I dunno ).

I floated the A high flop because I think a lot of villains just give up on these after there cbet is called, when he bets turn his bet size is really small, I think he would bet most of his big hands bigger here and if I shove I think I only need him to fold 50%ish of the time to be breakeven which could be realistic given his really wide 3bet range

Dunno not sure how bad this is...thoughts anyone?

UPDATE

Ok it was a tough few days, sometimes it was not very easy, you could even say it was hard. I rode the rollercoaster of poker...but in the end I finished up. Play bad and run like an immortal, apparently that's all it takes
