Pretty std 2knl winrate, definitely sustainable longterm

Turn is a bit of merge, river is a bluff to get him off an overpair. Given positions his stats and the blocker I assumed that his range for getting to river did not include more than 3-4 combos of flush or better. Probably would not try this too much vs a good reg though.

I like a lot your line with you 69o (even if you will see AQ or better some of the time), but I hate your river call on this one.

When he is CRing this flop : he got : AIR / made hand or a draw. Sure, when he shoves this river he is polarizing himself to set / flushes, but a lot his draws get there, and you beat only few draws (89, A3, 7s8s ) and total AIR (probably with heart)... Any read on this reg to make this call ?
    01-29-2013 , 01:28 PM
Obviously won't go into reg specific reads but in any case I don't why you say a lot of draws got there. The only draw that got there is the club FD, everything else missed including all straight draws and heart draw. Note that we have a good blocker to that, he will not raise all FD OTF, we need to be good only ~35% of time and we are very close to the top of our range. Pretty sure call is EV+.

Case of ? TT/88/44/T8 raises flop and most combinations of flushes fold pre except maybe AQdd/AJdd/KQdd/QJdd and he can't have JTdd/T9dd/98dd/87dd/76dd because of the board.
    01-30-2013 , 06:47 AM
Yeah, and given stats and positions he probably does not have 44,T8 or even AJs in his prefloprange.

\month as planning to take a day off tomorrow. Obviously very pleased with my results and I think I played very well for the most part. But on the other side I realise that I was on a bit of a heater so need to stay grounded as the next d/s is as always just around the corner Think I would be happy with half the profit next month. Anyway, here are the final results:

    So sick. Holiday april-december?
    02-02-2013 , 08:35 AM
Would you say you have a low variance style?
    02-02-2013 , 09:33 AM
Not sure, never thought about it. Why would you think so?
    02-02-2013 , 09:55 AM
just wondering your graph doesn't have to much variance
    02-02-2013 , 09:55 AM
high winrate = low variance.. well only winning variance
xela is not a nit though if thats what ur wondering
    02-02-2013 , 10:20 AM
U can just look ur variance up in HM fwiw.
    02-02-2013 , 04:51 PM
Ha, yeah not a nit. Also I had downswings in the past but you cannot see them well because the latest heater at high/mid stakes is overshadowing the ups and downs at lower stakes. I think my biggest downswing was in the region if 30BI.
    02-02-2013 , 04:55 PM
Speaking of past results, thought it is time for an updated graph since going pro (end of 2011):
