Omg my wife and I hate cats as well. We decided to not have children. ( more poker time for me)
And now have 3 dogs.
One my wife adopted 17 years ago she a mut named Bella
A white German Shepard named Cade we adopted 3 years ago
And a Rhodesian ridgeback we adopted 1 year ago.. Better than kids IMO I'm to selfish for kids and way to busy..
( how do I upload pics from my phone)???

The way I upload from my phone is download the photo bucket app, load a pic from there, open your browser and go to the actual photo bucket website, copy the direct link and then past in the image icon in the thread

Yes dogs are the greatest. Growing up my mom an sisters loved cats so there was always one or two around the house. The cats hated me lol, mainly cause I tortured them a little, chase them around, catapult them if they were sleeping on the top of a recliner, IMO standard for a little boy to do.

I will give my gfs cat a little credit tho it is pretty cool. It's a Bengal cat, I thinks it's 3 or 4 generations removed from an actual wild cat. Coolest thing the cat does is actually play fetch with just about anything. Her favorite is with beer bottle caps, if she finds one she will jump in the bed in te morning and drop it on my chest ill throw it out of the room and she takes off, finds it, brings it back and drops it back on my chest. Pretty entertaining for a cat...but it's still a cat

Def need to start taking the bus, gas has gone up to 3.70/gal. It was costing me about $35 per trip in gas with my truck. Plus I get $15 bonus play for slots, releasing the inner degenerate

I've been reluctant to ride It from Austin. I hate being close to old and smelly people..

It's a 67/69 Vw bug I built. Recently sold... I buy and sell cars. Mostly Mercedes

I thought you might like the bug.. Since you were at Vw for a while..
I bagged it. Narrowed the front end. Custom sounds etc...
Just bought this little Benz modding it ATM and selling soon
This one was one of my favs..

I attempted to stalk Running Uphill last night, but as you can see his handler's didn't allow me to get too close. You can see his main bodyguard standing right behind him. Unfortunately, that guy was with him the entire night...they even took piss breaks together so there was nothing more I could do.

Here you can see his handlers as well as spectators gathering around to see him play (This is like a Where's Waldo photo lol)

I attempted to take a photo of him when he was cashing out at 9:01:14pm but his handlers quickly rushed me and smashed my camera.

Wanted to suggest finding some underground games in your local area. Peeps are always table talking at winstar about their home games.
I admit the casino is "safer" but home games usually have a lot of whales!!! If you ever come to Austin looking for poker action I've know games every night from 1-2 -- 5-10 and mix

$35 a trip? Wow, that's ridiculous. It costs me $15-20 a trip depending on the price of gas at the time (small car with ok gas mileage...nothing special). I recommend you be more selective about the gas stations you go to. Dallas gas prices are high so I generally fill up on the way to Winstar, either the Swisher exit (Corinth) or the race-trac in North Denton (380 exit).

Playing pretty snug right now mainly due to the deck, finding spots that I would usually raise with meh hands and folding them, I think that was a semi leak I had at 1/2, just way to many callers behind me to make it profitable.

Contemplating playing the $60 donkament, probably pass on it while br is small

Well I am a sucker for an mtt, cashed out 419 so decided I'd have some fun and play since I'm up a buyin.

That's one thing I want to make sure that I do throughout this whole journey is to make sure I still have fun playing a game that I love. I don't want to become an emotionless robot just making repetitive actions, I want to feel the highs of winning a big pot, making a great call, and making the correct big folds and still feel the bitterness of losing. I've always been an emotional person when it comes to competition, I was that way on the golf course playing in college and I want to be that way with poker. While obv avoiding tilt.

Will keep updated

Lol ... If he 3b or 4b you judo chop him in the esophagus and run as fast as you can to the floor!! Hide behind the desk... Good luck in the tourney.. Ship that shi t ....

I agree with you about staying emotionally involved with the game. Makes it so much better and forces you to learn from mistakes!!

You still play golf? I used to play 2-3 times a week till I slipped a disk in my back.. Sucks too because I live on a golf course.

I plan on it, I was a teaching pro out at Dallas cowboys club for a little while before I started grinding on stars for a living. I took about 2 years off then got back into it over the summer, took me about a month and shelf to start shooting in the 60s again. It was tough to play working at the dealership tho, I would get up at 530 and practice then go to work at 9, ended up just not playing in August.

I plan on playing tho on my days off for sure, I guess my end all goal would be to play poker to fund a shot at the mini tours. Would be pretty sick if I'm able to do both my passions for a living.

We will see, long ways off for now, gotta make it one day at a time for now

My guess is that the $60 tourney is horribly structured and will be chopped like 10 ways lol. If today isn't the last time you play it, I'm guessing once you have built your roll that you will consider it a complete waste of time and never bother with it again lol.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.
