At +45 right now in for 300, one interesting spot that shows the brain capacity of 1/2 players, 2 weak players limp I raise A5hh on btn to 13, both call, flop is T52cc checks to last who bets 10 into me, I call other guy folds, Kc turn, she bets 10 again, I call planning to bluff the river cause she really doesn't show much strength, 9h river, she bets 10 again, I raise to 60 and she snap calls with J9 red lol wtf

This is pretty much the same way 5/10 fish play. So many of them are simply unable to throw away a pair. It really pisses me off when I execute a perfect bluff, making perfectly sized bets and crafting a perfect story and then these fish will call me down with bottom pair when my entire range crushes them except the one hand that I happen to have.

So I get Q5cc on the btn, 1 limper I iso raise to 12, semi wanna be laggy bb 3 bets to 32 (we are both 600+ deep), limper folds I call, flop is J54ss, he leads 55, I call planning to rep a lot of stuff that gets there an have backdoor club draw, Jc turn, bb checks so this perfect card for me to not only rep but hav more equity now so I bet 55 to look pretty valuey and plan is to bomb the river for 175+ which is gunna make lots of over pairs make a big hero call, river is 7h, bb leads for 80, didn't see that coming at all, so I tank, really wierd for an over pair to play like this, only hand that makes sense is JJ, but it's 1 combo of his range, so I hero call with my pair of 5s he mucks AQ and I put him on super massive tilt and he spewed most of his stack off in the next half hour lol

On a side note (brag) I lived in downtown Dallas for 4 years, half of which the skyline was right outside my balcony which was pretty sick. I moved about 10 miles outside of downtown back in August which was probably one of the best moves I have done in a while. I pay $200 more per month (which is actually the gfs half so I am paying about the same) for more than twice the size apartment with imo a sicker view than downtown

Nice one. I say once you hit $5,725 play at 2-5 and buy In for $400. If you loose that from either bad play or unlucky you have one more buy in for $400 and then can move back down. . I think its important to move up at that point to give you a new perspective of the game remember you can always go back to 1-2..Keep up the good work. You now have spies all over winstar. You should get a wig and a fake stash lol

Getting an early start for Presidents' Day

Woke up around 7 this morning, the gfs freaking cat is in heat right now, at times I just want to load up my shotgun and say pull with the cat in the trap. I've always been a dog person, ever since I was 11. I had a chocolate lab named Ana, by far te greatest dog a boy could ever want. I read a book about training dogs and so I put in a lot of hard work with Ana and eventually after a while I had her trained to a whistle to 5 commands, sit, stay, heel, left, right. The greatest day was when I blew the stay command and walked all the way around my house, about every 15 seconds blowing the command again, when I made it all the way around she hadnt moved from her spot.

Unfortunately my time with Ana was very limited, about 9 months into having the greatest dog in the world my dad got a really good job offer back in Dallas. At the time we lived out in east Texas, there was 100+ acres of pure woods behind our house which is heaven for any dog being able to run free and not being confined. So regretfully I gave her to one of my dads friends who had a horse ranch. I still wonder sometimes how her life turned out, I'm sure she had a great time chasing horses and going hunting, (15 years ago and I still tear up thinking about it).

Anyways, I would like to add a little more of a personal touch to this other than just got to casino crushed 1/2 leaving casino. Gunna try an add a little bit of a Matt Moore feel to this even though I don't have anywhere close to his wrighting skills.


Just outside my apartment we have this great mom and pop deli that has quite a bit of Greek influence. Really really good food!! Got a coffee and a ham egg and cheese wrap, normally I don't eat breakfast, I know it's a terrible habit and now having my own schedule I am going to break myself of that habit. Along with that I am going to try and start running the lake in the mornings and working out at least 3 times a week. Did a couple sets of push ups and sit ups an good God was I pathetic. I've never been the strongest guy, mainly bc I'm pretty lazy and just put off working out. I never had to been really strong playing golf in college, just had to have a decent amount of endurance. Most of our Saturday 36 hole days were 10-12 hour days in the cold wind and rain (gold old mid west weather for you). But I did have a six pack and some good arm definition, which has completely left me now seeing as its been a good 2-3 years since I've had any sort of workout routine.



Plan for today was to take the winstar bus to save on gas, seemed like a great plan but sitting on the bus for 20 minutes while they try and figure out what's wrong with the engine is pretty tilting. So I went to the front and asked the drive if they were having engine trouble, he said "something like that". I couldn't help but picture Keana Reeves on the bus with not a single white person and 90% born in the 50s or earlier, saying we have to keep the bus going 55 or we all die lol.



Gunna have to build up my will power...sigh



I will post updates from the session, I updated to the new IOs for my iPhone and get better battery life and reception in the poker room.
