It’s time to make a come back to poker and play plo cash. Past poker experience was mtt mostly 2008-2011.

For now I make study the great game of pot limit Omahahas, also known as plolol.

I got the pre flop tool by Doug Polk and have been tinkering about with it, as well as run it once essential.

I’m on ignition at the moment, only at plo10 for now. I’m less concerned with making money and more concerned with building a solid game.

My goal is to play mid stakes plo Live when it comes back. 50/hr by the end of the year would be sweet.


Going to Vegas tomorrow to see to some live plo, the tiniest stakes available. Looks like flamingo has a 1/1 with a 100-500 buy in.

Downloaded poker Income pro to track sessions on ignition. Played 2 so far and lost both.

Gto Preflop trainer “plo matrix” has opening ranges tighter than the dickens, and very little fold to 3b.

I’m opening a little looser but my mistake last night was calling too many 3b. Especially at 10plolol on ignition where the the population is more nuttwd when 3b

Also ran shot when turned the nut straight 3 way and got it in vs two flush draws which got there. Also got kkqq aipf vs aa but was a bit tilted.

Then ignition disconnected

I’m a donk but very motivated to figure this game out

Played 1 hr and booked a small win, it feels nice to put a + in pokerincome

Was more dialed in, not calling as much Preflop

Bluffed a pretty big pot (relatively) when there was a 3! Preflop. Put the guy on AA and bluffed turn and river on like 34567 DDD runout. Villain did have aces but also had a straight.

Gonna crunch #s in plo matrix for 30 mins and watch 2 hrs of vids on rio

The rio content is solid. Can’t beat the price to watch Phillip galfond teach some plo.. mostly going through his vids first so can’t speak on the other essential plo coaches as much

Vegas was a fail. I mean it was fun, but so damn much was shut down.

The poker was a fail. Poker atlas is so wrong! There be no 1/1 plo at flamingo, Sahara was not even open for pokerz.

So I sat in 1/2 $5 bring in at aria with 200 shekels. The game played big and there weren’t any major soft spots. I sat maybe 4 orbits and bounced down like 35 duckets.

We stayed at treasure island and it smelled weird and the bath tub didn’t drain. I pissed in the tub while drunk as a way of saying thanks.

Yes tons of Vegas filth, they’re not sending their best.

Bout to start a session. Going to play tighter pre flop and NOT bluff more than 1 street.

****ing misclick 4bet a nitreg last night hu and then proceeded to bomb all 3 streetS and fold to a cr on the river.

Trying to book winning sessions and fix some leaks. Even if I was crushing these stakes my graph would not be something to catch a wack to at 10plo.

As stated earlier, just trying to learn the game: $$ irrelevant at this point.

Getting some good mileage out of Doug polk Preflop trainer but am eyeing the vision or monkersolver. Tho The latter would require a new pc.

Sitngowiz back 10 years ago was my first piece of software and I remember running the quiz every day. Took my game up a **** once I got the momentum.

I see that vision has a quiz, not sure about monker.

Plugging of the leaks as reflected in the last post went swimmingly.

About 65% sure I have a 60% grasp on this game pre flop.

But pay this no mind.

Will purchase vision soon at least for a month and get started on some post flop dialing and dedication.


Much more confident in my understanding of preflop opening ranges as per upswing plo preflop lab. But still a bit lost with 3 bets.
