I've been on here for a long time but had to re-open an account because was away for too long. I'm always sceptical when people say they post to 'give back to the community'. At the end of the day blogging your own stuff is mostly about talking about oneself.

That being said I'm gonna post some background & results anyway.
My goal is to keep my winrate where it is, probably unrealistic?

I've lived abroad for almost 10 years, but am now back home. I was not able to find a job for about 6 months so decided I might as well see if I could live off poker a bit in the mean time. I played way too little, but did better than I expected. The last 45 sessions were my 'poker pro' time.

The big blinds vary because it was played at different levels and currencies. I've calculated it all back to NZD.

Currently I'm at $46/hr average after +-200 hours.
Hope to update this thread in a few weeks or months time, but I have a job now (for like $23/hr net though...:-( ) so I'm unsure how much I will get to play.

Even though on paper I make double playing poker, I'm under no illusions that playing poker professionally is a smart move for me long term.
