Thanks man , Wife obv tilts at HON and thinks it's a HUGE time-suck (it is), but I keep weird hours, I go to sleep at like 4am and wake up at like noon, she usually goes to sleep at like... 10 or 11pm. So generally I wake up, grind, eat, grind, then we eat dinner together, hang out for a few hrs (she goes to sleep) and I grind / play HON when action is slow :-p, so I make it impact her as little as I can

So std (Idra) ;p. I started when I was 15 1/2, was playing 5/10 (highest stakes on Stars at the time) when I was mid 16. Hit a DS, cashed out, went super casual until like the end of my freshman year of college then started getting into it a lot more and found 2p2 (before that I had never spoken to anyone about poker just thought about it on my own) and kinda learned how to study. Roughly 1.5 years after that point I went "pro" (was making 4-6k+ / mo and felt I could live on my own). Luckily 2 of the next 4 months after that I had a 17.5k and then 35k month, both my biggest months at the time so things started to go pretty well quickly.

Update to the month


Been swingy so far (as usual). Started snap +50k then was BE for a while and had one brutal session. I've gotten EV-crushed in deep pots at the higher stakes so that's never fun for a graph but still obv super happy with how it's gone considering we're 6 days in.





Can't really complain much about $8.50 / hand actual and $3 / hand EV

Running at EV since I'm back, above in the 6 days of this month only. Gonna keep at it glad I have some time to just grind some cash atm cause once I hit Vanc it will likely be almost 100% HU SNGs.

What are yout thoughts about the new cap HU cash tables? If you like that step as they are no even similiar to HUSNGs in regards of stack sizes (you played the 20-500 tables before if I understand right) or do you dislike them bc they prolly limit your potential earnings?

Haven't played them cause I haven't been on Stars (not in Vancouver yet), but obviously they will be pretty good for me and I will very likely play them quite a bit so I'm def. happy with them. People said the same (limit your earning potential) about Hyper Turbo HUSNGs and look how misguided that was .

And yea, for sure, going to be a VPP hustle from the 15th out

yea haha a little, it's def. intimidating, esp. when we were in a cage with 4 of them and 2 of them were running around chasing each other / playing, there were like dashing right by you and it would have been really easy for them to totally just run into / own you

Update on Cash since i've gotten back (Feb. 26th or so):





Obv play a lot less cash than I will SNGs so likely will keep SNG stuff daily with the occasional monthly or current for the month update. Cash I will usually keep graphs over about a months time frame since the hand(s) are usually a pretty small sample.

Anyways hope I can keep it up, if I put in more volume there is just so much to be made at cash but SNE is first focus for sure. Gotta get 3k+ VPP again today, glgl me.

why is SNE your main focus when it seems you can make 10x as much printing money at cash?

I mean I plan on doing both but i'm already getting way less action at cash and people just bumhunt / make it super tough, i'd rather not rely on it atm really want to spend 1 year just grinding super hard and between SNE / my other stuff / profits I hope to hit like 400-500k, maybe a lot more than that if cash is going as well as it has been for my first 100k hands (I do think my winrate is sustainable, certainly pretty close to it). So we'll see what happens but if i'm getitng no action in cash 4 months from now I won't be able to decide to go for SNE then, so i'm gonna get on pace now and then just roll w/it
