But I’m getting crazy anyway.

Current situation,

- I started to play poker in January
- I bought some online coaching first.
- Spent hours by studying just open ranges (I didn’t quit this episode yet so everything I’m doing postflop is pure improvisation)

- MTT low BI (5-20$)

I’m doing pretty good to be honest.

But I feel like I don’t have any goals… so I’m just studying and playing… I have no one to talk about poker of course. So the only one who I argue with is the guy from the YouTube video - not very effective he seems like he doesn’t really care what am I saying.

How you guys handle this?
How did you all got some group of poker players? Or this is how it’s gonna be? Isolated from everything just with your pc watching some online coaching? Or should I get real face to face coaching to find my goals and work on it? And how to find someone who won’t piss me off?

I’m working really hard but I don’t know what I’m working on. I’m kind of afraid even if I’m doing good right now I will lose motivation to continue.

Is this normal, am I just such a baby?

Welcome. I'm glad you're enjoying the game. There certainly are plenty of bad poker players out there that are easy to win money off of, but as the money gets more serious, so does the difficulty. Take this all with a grain of salt as I'm far from one of the best players, but there several sources of poker knowledge.

Free online resources like this one and speaking with other players about the game. You can learn a decent amount from strat threads on 2+2. Especially in a lot of the archived quality threads. Other players are a good resource, but since there's no real quality control, you can definitely get some bad advice.

Books. Cheap, pay for it once and the info is at your fingertips. There's lots of bad ones out there, but from book review threads on 2+2 you can find the good ones.

Premium training sites like Upswing Poker or Run It Once. Here's where the money starts getting serious as they are often in the $50 to $100 per month range. They are usually kept somewhat up to date. You'll get a lot of the tools you need to at least make it up the low to mid stakes.

1-on-1 coaching: Work with a guy who can help fix your specific flaws and teach you some stuff that maybe doesn't come through as well in the training sites. Can be expensive at $100+ an hour for a good coach, but it's definitely worth at least a few hours when you're ready to take the next step.

Coaching for Profit Stables. I know several serious pros who swear by this. You sign up with coaches who will teach you for a cut of your profits. It's expensive, and they expect you to put in pro level volume, but you're likely getting the top level info as far as crushing games is out there.

And of course self study is always going to be required to stay on top. Good luck on your journey.

This was amazing answer thank you a lot for your time.

Well, the premium training sites was very first thing i invested in - before i even started to play.

But here is a thing: you can learn a bunch there. But there is noone who would say: yeah you did this wrong... and why...
So im sitting over my hands and try to find my mistakes by myself... it is exhausting - what is not a problem.
The problem is: im not even sure if im right

You can just google poker coaching for profits and you'll get several hits. Some advertise here on 2+2. I know absolutely nothing about the quality of any of these orgs, but testimonials are out there.
