Happy New Year All
You don't hear much about players when they retire from poker.
Unless you are Fedor Holz you just bink a massive live tournie.
I announced to family last week I was retiring from playing poker; poker was never a full time job but did provide a nice side income for the best part of 10 years.
Last year, profit wasn't much more than $6000.00, which was poorest profit in the longest time.
Volume was low and there was no massive appetite to play regularly.
Games were slow, most often with 4 other regs on a table and one rec.
Poker, however, still holds a great allure.
This is my story playing poker during poker retirement.
Regain the fun of playing, like it was when we all started playing the beautiful game; including a lot more live.
