Day 7 Results

Another pretty sick day in the books. Felt really tired today and the thought of playing 5k hands was meh. My brain just didn't really feel dialled in 100% so may well have tomorrow off.

Played pretty well today again and my turbulent relationship with EV at least ended on almost an even keel for today.



So end of week 1 from the blog and its been pretty sick week. I wanted the blog to give me more accountability and focus and I definitely feel like its given me that.

Just over 35k hands in a week and won over $10k with rakeback which is pretty insane! Current WR is just over 9bbev/100



I may well have tomorrow off before the weekend I'm not sure but I'll post April's results just in case I do.

$14.6k+RB so around $16k for April which is pretty nice.

105k hands win a WR of 5.6bbev/100 which again is pretty nice but I defo want to aim higher for May.

16k month is pretty amazing, grats!

Yeah 4 tables usually, went down to 2 and 3 for parts of the month when broke even/mini downswing. That was just before started the blog

Didn't really plan on playing today. Felt really tired last few days but ended up playing 2.5k hands

Started pretty meh but grinded it back to even and then just finished up another 1k hands and last hand of the day we won a nice 380bb pot...

So pre flop is still a pretty standard 4b vs this player. I also wouldn't fold to a jam even though I think getting in 200bb with KK pre is gonna be a mistake a lot. Once he flats think he is gonna have a pretty wide range from suited connectors to like TT+ and broadway combos.

Even tho he is pretty fun he does have cold calling strat too so think he will call a lot of his pocket pairs below TT/99 a lot pre especially this deep.

On the flop think we have pretty clear CB and vs a reg I would be pretty scared of the raise and the raise size.

But this guy is gonna have all his over pairs still, his pair plus draws and with my read on him I don't think he will use this size with a stronger value hand like 2p/sets/straights.

I don't have a diamond so I decided to sigh jam for value.

Finished up just under 2 buy ins so nice little chill end day to the month before we get into the weekend games tomorrow.

Aside from the 2.5k hands, I did my last session with a student that I have been coaching. 5 weeks ago he was breakeven at 100z and he is small winner at 200z currently so it's pretty nice to see him progressing slowly. Plugged some more little errors he had today so hopefully will start seeing him crush pretty soon once he fully gets everything I've tried to teach him.

Day 8 Results

So we was due a day like today and its arrived. Day was going pretty chill for most of it and then the pool just went crazy. Unfortunately ran into some really grim spots.. losing some biggish pots with some bluffs that didn't work.

As well as just getting a lot of good hands into better hands and not holding.

Day 9 Results

So bit of an downnnnn downnn day today with then a lot of up for the 2nd part of the day. To be down $1.4k when I stopped this mornings session at 1.8k hands was pretty brutal. I have felt pretty tired for few days now.. defo did not play my best this morning but got cold decked a lot but hey ho. Its just variance.

Didn't get the full 5k hands in and I am probably going to change that as a strict goal. I wanna play at least 3.5k a day as bottom and then anything above that will be great.

Felt myself really pushing myself to play at times because of the 5k goal I mentioned at start of the blog but the reason I choose this life is because of the flexibility it gives.

That been said this is still build year!! So I still want the volume to be there.

Day 10 Results

So I said I wasn't gonna drive myself to play 5k hands and day after nail another 5k hands.

Really good day today. Games were good and ran well today.



Hit over 50k hands now since start of the blog so averaging over 5k hands a day slightly so volume is real good.



Decent day and my Sunday is done. Considering firing some scoops throughout the series too but every time I develop the thought of regging, I check a lobby see a 13 day late registration period and filter back to cash games.

My background is from tournaments mainly and I used to stream them but I really don't wanna mess with my sleeping pattern. 90% convinced I will fire the $1k Main tho.

Diet and fitness has really tailed off the last few days. Haven't felt the best and whenever this happens I usually go to not really eating meals and wanting to snack all the time. Gonna make sure I get back on it tomorrow.

Day 11 Results

So didn't manage to get the volume I wanted in today but I am not to worried as numbers have been pretty good. Was up and out and about earlier as Samui appears to be opening up things slowly again post lockdown.

Manged to play just under 3k hands still so not the worst. Won a lot of big pots today and ran well 3x AIP spots which generated a nice little green line.



Rather than usual graph since start of blog I'll post graph since been in Samui as Rich was talking about new 200z peaks. Been here since around 21st March so around 6 weeks and the graph so far for lockdown...



Happily keep the graph at that gradient for rest of year!

Day 12 Results

Slipped on volume again today but still a decent day. I basically played 100 hands in the morning session or something stupid.

Was distracted as we picked up some bigger motorbikes today because the island is starting to restore back to some normality so we wanna go do some exploring around the island.

I have always kinda struggled with attention spam and that goes all the way back to school so I found myself in a nootropics black hole. Found what appeared to be a decent one which has a lot of benefits called Mind Lab Pro. I got Rich to ask his nutritionist about them and he said although he hasn't tried this brand all the ingredients in them looks really good so I have ordered myself some of them and hopefully they get here within next 2 weeks. Pretty excited to see if they have any affect at all.

Also caught up on show called Gangs of London, which if you haven't watched you really need to. I never really get big buzz from TV series episodes but I was honestly so shocked at Ep4. Was insane.

Gonna go chill with the boys now and watch Ep5 but results first.

Played like 3.4k hands today I think and defo wanna get that up to at least 4k most days but at nearly 60k hands in 12 days so volume still strong.





Back at it tomorrow and hopefully over next few weeks can start posting a bit more lifestyle posts. Pretty lucky to be on this amazing island so will try get out there a bit and take some cool photos.

Day 13 Results

So about the only thing going for me today was volume and sunsets. Played around 6k hands so happy with that and the pool was honestly amazing but I just couldn't win a pot.

These days happen and will be back tomorrow. Will post the graphs and couple of photos from the little bike ride me and Dan had around the island this afternoon.

Day 14 Results

Well I got it absolutely rekt today in every spot. Very much the same as yesterday been on the wrong side of big pots.

I wasn't sure if I was been an absolute spewtard in spots especially big ones but I just went through the majority of my big pots down to 50bb and a lot of them are fine. Out of the awful 10bi I lost today I could of probably saved 2.5-3bi's so that was reassuring.

I always find it mentally very taxing when the negative swings come around and its definately something I am trying to figure out how best to deal with.

I am 100% gonna take at least tomorrow off though. I have played over 70k hands now in 2 weeks so I want to have complete break from playing for at least tomorrow and then come back more refreshed

I say this whilst I am in my first SCOOP events of the series and hopefully gonna find a virtual bag in the 6max event.
