Finished off last week up $4k. Started the week today by getting up at 7:00 AM and by 1:00 PM I had gotten my morning cold brew and breakfast, gone for a swim, won $800 playing PLO 6, fu*ked my girl and had lunch. It hardly seems like a Monday.

Going to Sihanoukville for 3 nights with the deaf one as the taxi will be here at the condo in a couple of hours. Staying at the Sokha Beach Resort which should be nice. Will have a plethora of pics and hopefully some vids over the next few days.

I arrived yesterday and while the hotel isn't as good as I hoped for, it's perfectly fine; not great but perfectly fine. The GF loves it so that'll do but I'll probably book another place the next time. It is a beachfront hotel so the view is nice, the room is huge and the property has something like 4 restaurants. We got in around 4:30 PM, took a dip in the pool then walked around the beach taking photos. A friend of mine who is running a game here met us for dinner then I actually went and played live holdem. The GF went off with some friends as she's actually from this town. Then we met up back at the hotel around 1:00 AM, fu*ked then went to sleep. I woke up at 8:00 AM to enjoy my free breakfast, played my morning session then went back to the room when my girl woke up at 2:00 PM. Then we got a decent steak at a new hotel in town then came back to the room to play my second session while she went to get her nails done. I'm not quite sure who loves their life more right now, me or the GF?

Some of the new hotels they have built here in Sihanoukville are really nice, nearing 5 star levels. This also goes for the restaurants within each property as I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of both the food and service. As far as the poker goes it's pretty much the same sh*t as before, at least in the one game I played in which is the Korean game at La Vogue. A 5% $25 cap rake for a $1/$3 game with a bonus drop of up to $3 depending on the size of the pot. Not to mention the bonuses aren't even progressive so it's basically just pure profit for them. And it's fairly obvious that they're playing out of the rake and not buying themselves in so that seems a bit colluding-ish. Overall still enjoyed my time here and would come back but I could care less about the live poker scene.

All of the private games have run continuously throughout the pandemic. In fact more games have opened up, mainly by the Chinese, to fill the void left by Naga. The casino has opened back up since, maybe about a couple of months ago. They run a nightly game it or two of 2/5 NLH and sometimes 5/10.

Still up for debate. I'm off it for a while as I've been playing 5 card for the last month. I was playing the PLO6 3/6 game with a $6 ante and a 45% VP$IP restriction and ran crazy bad.

I'm in Kampot for a couple of days as I've moved the family here. My wife was miserable in Phnom Penh and I wanted my kids to start school in a smaller town. I go back and forth a bit spending a couple of days a week in Kampot. While this city has it's charm and I once lived here back in the day, it's probably something I could not do again. Every time I go to a restaurant and order a coke zero and get a blank stare from the server is all the reminder I need. That and the bars here completely suck and I would be bored out of my mind. Going back to civilization tomorrow.

I will say this about Kampot though. If you have any bit of money and can grind out even a semi decent winrate online, you should be able to last forever. Everything is so fu*king cheap here.

Thank you. I almost changed my mind at the last second but concluded such would be for selfish reasons. While I will miss my kids and would prefer to see them every day, this is probably what's best for both them and their mother.

I found mike (poker triad) twitch channel and he's been my agent for pokerbros for a year and a half. Everything was ok until 1 week ago when i requested a cashout and chip movement between my accounts, i didnt get any response from mike since then and wayne left the chat many days ago and isnt answering to my dms.

I tried to contact them on facebook, instagram, telegram but none of them replied. Also their facebook page (pokerappcentral) was taken down so overall it doesnt look good. I hope they didnt have many players, im owed around 4k and im not sure how i will get them back

have you ever lived in asia before, his mentality was pretty standard for a local - very easy for expats to get caught up in that lifestyle ie his wife was clearly ok with all the philandering because being with him was better for her and her extended family and extremely so for her children

every single country in asia has very visible venues of prostitution where they don't even try to conceal what is really going on because it's such an ingrained part of the culture - likewise being a mistress doesn't carry the same taboos it has in the west, i've literally had female colleagues quit their jobs because they found a married sugar daddy who was going to give her an apartment and put her on an allowance and other girls in the office weren't calling them whores but genuinely happy for them that "they made it"

but you're also ignoring that concepts of marriage and love are very different over there - it's super common for spouses to live in separate cities and the kids to be raised by grandparents, marriage for love is fairly uncommon in asia and usually exclusive to the subsistence wage class

it's also why a lot of educated and career driven women in asia often don't marry because they won't put up with that treatment yet won't settle for a peasant farmer who would be faithful
