This is my 100th post and I want to use it to say that I'm not going to be in these s*hit micro stakes for the rest of my life.

Day 42 of Main Challenge / 13th Day of 50k hand challenge

Holistic Graph for 50k hand challenge

At the end of this session, I went f*ucking insane. I was 3betting every hand. I tore apart the notepad I was writing on and it was only thing that brought me joy in the last 3 hours. I don't care about publicly posting this. I'm not some little b*itch who hides their flaws. I felt like betting on sports to try and win it back and then banned myself from sports & the casino because I knew was being f*ucking delusional and was going to end up losing even more. Some days I just lose control of my emotions and it always ends with me losing too much money. It's amazing how stupid I can be sometimes.

Have a couple of days off away from poker.. Dont even log into here, no point playing with the mindset you just described you are just going to punt stacks and things will get worse... Go do non poker related sh*t for a couple of days and come back fresh..

I've certainly felt the same at times and made sub-optimal decisions. PLO is a game which you have to be mentally strong for because some days you're going to do everything right and still lose.

The game can really reward fish who will put in 100bb pre-flop with junk double suited hands and crack your aces which dominate them or call giant 4bets with stuff like Q932 single suited and hit the dream flop. It does make one wonder whether there's much point in trying to play premium hands when very often the bad ones are rewarded.

All you can do is try and make the best decision for each hand and hope it turns around (although there's certainly no guarantee as a person can run bad much longer than their patience/funds can stand). If you feel the quality of your decisions are declining then take a break if it's not something you can address during a session. Alternatively, perhaps try a lower variance form of poker? I see lots of NLH pros but not so many PLO ones - i'm not sure whether that's meant to tell me something!

You downloaded pdf now read it. After you finish reading read it again. Then one more time. Don't come back to poker until you complete that book. Fishes will be there waiting for you don't worry.
